Hey Rach I love these types of videos but one thing I would recommend you doing is start mentioning or a popup on the screen of the prices of these products you bought/got so that we (the viewer) have an idea if we would like to buy it ourselves ☺️ keep it up❤
I'm pretty sure my brother has to know about this too as he's a fan of negroni. We have a place here in our city (Genova Italy) that apparently makes megroni snowcones. But I have no idea as I hate the taste of alcohol and don't drink anything other than water, coffee, iced tea and juice.
We finally decided to upgrade our milk frother and got the Nespresso one based on your recommendation-total game changer!! We also ended up getting the cotton candy machine from a previous video. Love these videos and appreciate all your recommendations ❤️
I got myself a Papershoot about 18 months ago because I'm a millenial with BIG nostalgia for disposable cameras, but cringe at the cost of buying and developing them. From my experience so far, it's best used for landscape/architectural photography when there's bright sunlight and crisp sunlight - I also almost exclusively use the sepia or B&W modes because of how cold the 'neutral' is. They're alot of fun to use in the plce of a disposable (like at parties or a wedding just trying to get some fun/candid shots) but mostly as a fun tool alongside a phone camera. The biggest benefit is that you don't spend half of your time checking/critiquing/editting whilst your out and about, and you get the fun of going through the images to see if you got any cool ones. I would say 1 in 10 photos I take with it is something really special
Rach, you find the weirdest things to test out and we love you for it. 😂😂. That pink the sweater is definitely your color!! I love it on you. I need to go watch your last video again so that I can get me one.
YES! So excited to see Pura in today's video. I have had my eye on that one for quite some time, but have been holding off. So interested to see your review.
I love my Pura, and their customer service! If you don’t like a scent you can pick a new one. I love the Anthro scents as well as the Dae ones but always try a new one when I order
I have the Nori and the Pura. the Pura is meant to kind of be a light scent. more of a your home always seems fresh vibe than like I lit a candle vibe. it's a mixture of an oil diffuser and a plug in. The Nori I find great for pants and like basic t-shirts. if you have a bunch of stuff though it's not really convenient.
I've Bern using Pura for over 3 years and love it. The scents are so good. Great for the change of seasons and holidays. No worries of candle burning and forgetting its lit. Definitely a win for our house.
On the shelf stable product, ascorbic acid is fancy words for vitamin c. Which is used as a natural preservative. Or at least I've been told that by someone.
I hate the taste of stevia! I was so happy that you tried these because I was going to order them on my grocery order and I'm so glad that I didn't know because of the stevia. You should try mud water
I hate the taste of stevia also. I think that it has a very bad aftertaste and that it is way too sweet. I like to add peppermint extract to my water. It gives it a refreshing mint taste and there's no sugar.
@@marciwhitman3513 cool idea! I think I would also add cucumber with it. Cucumber and mint would be a good combination. Yes Stevia has a terrible aftertaste! I think it's the worst out of all of the artificial sweeteners. I like raw sugar raw honey or splenda.
You finally started adding ice to things and started liking it better I was thinking that all the way back to the flavored water. When I drink flavored water which is all day every day I have to have it with ice. Not sure what it does but I definitely like it 10 times more with ice. My nanny hat on, great tip for kids and getting them to drink water is to put ice in it, kids also like drinks with ice in it I don’t understand the science behind it but it’s just true.
I own an iron, because maybe someday *just in case* I'll get one piece of clothing that needs it, but other than that, it never gets used. I work in scrubs & I specifically do not buy fancy clothes that require it. If it's wrinkled *that* badly, I'll chuck it in the dryer for 10 minutes, then hang up. 🤷♀️😂
So many of the drinks you tried I’ve been curious about. The ones that incorporate mushrooms seem to not be the best flavor in my experience. I’m also not a fan of the “chunks” that tend to float around. I like the concept, but I’ve not yet found one that I enjoy. They always smell great but the flavor does not match the scent. Also I love the sweater! I thought it was so cute in the previous video. That’s a great color on you!
Handheld frothers are the best at dissipating any powders so there aren’t chunks left. I’ve tried the Clevr lattes and their iced teas and wasn’t particularly impressed? They tasted fine but I found them to be expensive and I’m not entirely sold on the whole adaptogens thing, it seems to be trendy these days but I haven’t noticed any side effects positive or negative.
Re: Stur- unfortunately this isn’t a revolutionary product. Cordial/ squash/ saft (as in a flavouring which is diluted in water) already exists all over Europe, including in the concentrated form in a squeezy bottle similar to Stur. I absolutely love my Pura. I love the Paddywax scents, especially Wassail and Tobacco Patchouli. Pumpkin Laurel is a fall favorite. The booklets with samples aren’t as accurate as I’d like. What is very nice is going to a retailer and smelling sample bottles-or just order what sounds good and exchange it if you don’t like it. Pura has an excellent returns and exchange policy.
I hate just plain water -unless i'm in Scotland, plain water tastes amazing and crisp there- but i don't like juice/cordial neither so i just literally put lime juice in water. No sugar. So refreshing
Hi. Congratulations to everyone that was gifted a membership!🎉 I agree it's nice that TH-cam is doing this. What did the refrigerator say to the magnet? I find you very attractive. Did you hear about the ballerina who broke up with her boyfriend before Valentine's Day? It was tu tu hard. Congratulations again to the winners.
I love that pink sweater! So pretty! I remember wearing that type of sweater in the 90s. Which I think a lot of the 90s stuff is coming back, like your sweater. I am just like you, I hate the iron. It takes me forever to iron some thing. I get one place ironed and then I make more wrinkles somewhere else. I’m just I’m not good at ironing. Plus I feel like I have to have whatever I am ironing, perfect. I love your videos! They are kind of unique. And I have to tell you this, your teeth are so pretty and white. Thanks for all your hard work with these videos. God bless. Have a great week.❤😊
Love my Pura. Their app isn’t great when you do your subscription and purchasing so I just do that all on my laptop. They have a great return policy if you don’t like a scent. It’s happened to me about 3 times. I got the sample booklets for fall and holiday season to help me out. Take the quiz and that’ll help shoot you in the right direction. I also filter by my scent note preferences when I’m looking for something new.
The Capri Blue Volcano is awesome. I think it’s the scent of the Anthropologie stores. I wouldn’t know because I’ve never went to one in person but that’s what I hear. So good.
I have an oliso iron. You never have to stand it up. I was taught how to iron shirts by my mom. And if you see, you can’t hate ironing because it makes life so easy.
I absolutely HATE ironing I refuse to do it. I have not had to iron since discovering Downy wrinkle releaser spray. Looove this stuff, complete life saver!!
Fun facts. First off you did the same thing my native Russian teacher did with the "sbagliato" it's pronounced differently but we appreciate the effort. Next any non alcoholic alcohol you'll ever find in the world will never be made in Italy as the procedure to make non alcoholic alcohol can't be done in Italy. I guess to protect our wines or something. What do producers do then? They make the wine in Italy, hand it over to Spain to get the alcohol to really low levels close to none and it gets sold off again in Italy.
Can't say I've seen ads for Stur, but they've been in my stores for years. I like the coconut pineapple one. My kids don't really like them because they want juice not a hint of flavor in their water.
I don’t know why, but when you said, what are you made of for your white long sleeve button down… It just cracked me up. I needed that today lol thank you Rachel! Also, I would love if you could test out the dual bristle machine. It’s the one that washes dogs and washes carpet.
I bought stur for my 2 year old son to encourage him to drink water. It works! And he really likes them. I don't mind them. I tend to drink water without water. You can totally put a small amount in the cup if you want.
For your frothiness.. it is the presence of sugars and fat molecules in a beverage that allow for the frothing when heated. They provide the structure that allows air to be incorporated. The less fats & sugars, the less froth you can make. That’s why you can’t froth a hot tea.
Hi Rachel! I know its not a "thing" in north America but maybe you can find it online.... In the uk we have "squash" it's a take on cordial BUT nowadays the majority are sugar free (we have a sugar tax over here) basically its a concentrate that you add to water to flavour it, you can adjust the strength to your own preference and they come in SO many flavour combinations over here but some original/tried and true favourites are orange, Apple and blackcurrant (blackcurrant is a major flavour in sqash/ cordial in the U.K. But i know its not available in the usa at least, unsrre canada cuz back in the olde days it affected some kind of tree or something?) Anyhow Ribena is a seriously well known brand that has been around for eons, back before the sugar free versions when it was true cordial and blackcurrant is the original flavour! My own personal favourit es are tropical or pink grapefruit flvoured squash. Im nearly 40yo but i struggle to drink plain & still water so i use sugar free squash to flavour water so I drink more. In the uk its very very rare to find powdered flavourings like koolaid powder and the newer/healthierz/sugar free variet varieties of powdered drink mix - i think its specifically because we have "squash" instead.
I tried Stir liquid enhancer when they first came out and wasn’t too impressed by the flavors. I usually stick to Mio or Crystal Light, but sometimes try the Snapple powders or some of the Dollar General flavors.
Stur is amazing combined with the Nuun tablets. I don't care for either by themselves. But mixed together, it is perfect. My integrative medicine dr wanted me to try drinking the Nuun tablets. I don't overly care for stevia, but I knew I needed to at least try it. It gives it the sparkling sense because Nuun is an effervescent.
I think Rachel should test the Hismile toothpaste brand! My boyfriend and I have seen tons of ads for it! I would also be interested in her trying the knix bras as well!
I love Curious Elixirs. When I was trying to cut back on drinking during the pandemic it was the best of NUMEROUS non-alcoholic options I tried. The flavor profiles are more sophisticated than most NA cocktails are and they have adaptogens which truly do make you feel good.
Hi Rach long time watcher love your videos wish u uploaded everyday ❤️I’m thinking when they share scents they might be talking about safe for pets as a lot of candles and defusers are unsafe for pets , not sure but that’s what I’m thinking ?❤️
My xiaomi does those filter without any app. I think the camera arrives 20years too late. The only use that I see for it, is for my kid to bring on school trips when he is a little bit older (he is 4), but there are cameras for kids that look a lot safer than that right?
The pura is real hit or miss for me. I love the Volcano scent but some are much more powerful than other ones. In our open spaces only 1 or 2 have had enough umph to be smelt.
I have the pura and love it but have found that under cabinets in the kitchen isn’t ideal for the scent to spread. I keep mine at our house entrance, bathroom and one on the island in the kitchen and love it. Usually at a 3 for the number and really am happy with it. The time the vials last is my only qualm with it. I am buying new ones every few weeks it seems and they are a little pricey for that
The iron that looks like a hair straightener would be perfect for stubborn wrinkles in hard to get to places like in between buttons as well as collars and cuffs!! I mean it pretty much is a hair straightener with a steam setting.. lol ..
Haven’t tried the Pura. But, have you seen the ads for Purdy & Fig. It seems to have lots of cleaning uses but with great scents. Would be great to see your thoughts.
Curious Elixirs - $45 for 4 12 oz bottles and $9 flat rate shipping. I challenge myself and you, Rachel and Christopher to come up with some recipes for complex mocktails. 💕
I have a Pura and like it however I’ve found some scents are much heavier (denser?) making it more noticeable, and that this is often noted in the scent descriptions.
A few years ago pura was sending out free samples of the scents, but no way to use them LMAO I got two and waited forever even called and asked how do I use these if I have no dispenser for it to go into. Lady said all you're supposed to do is open it and sniff it LMAO I ended up opening up an old empty bottle from a frebreze plug in thingy and dumping the stuff into that to use it..
Hi Rachel, Sheila from Calgary. I have been using Pura for 3 years in my home and car. I love them all! How do you get them to Canada? I have to have them sent to my SIL in Montana, and she sends them to me.
I want to know how the butterfly pillow works. I keep seeing ads and want to try but haven’t. I did get on wait list for The ffern ledger. I got the Autumn 23 scent and hated it.
I used to keep getting Insta ads for Keuzi boots after I watched a reel on fb 😅 so I gave in and bought a pair of their sheep fur (wtf is it called fur when it's wool 🤨) boots. Great as slippers, not as out-and-about boots though.
I have the pura 3 (so one generation older) and it has its issues, especially with connectivity, where it can only be connected via specific wifi hz so I have to do a whole process and its annoying AF. And the app for me is clunky but after a few years of just living with it, I like it overall. I like the nightlight function. 🤭

I have seen so many ads about “mud water” and I’m really curious about it but have not jumped on it yet
Curious Elixirs - $45 for 4 12 oz bottles and $9 flat rate shipping. I challenge myself and you, Rachel and Christopher to come up with some recipes for complex mocktails. 💕
I'm still chuckling at the nori. Nori=Iron backwards 🤭
Overnight Oats!! I’ve almost bought them like 3 times. They sound super tasty and claim money-back guarantee.
I have a Pura and like it however I’ve found some scents are much heavier (denser?) making it more noticeable, and that this is often noted in the scent descriptions.
A painkiller is good in the fall if you use a dark spiced rum!
Can you link your layered necklace and jeans you're wearing? Love them!!
My Alexa still went off even though you didn’t finish saying it. 😂😂😂
Hahaha
Same here! 😂😂😂
The best part is all your glassware!
The funniest Steven He plug-in I have ever heard on here!!! 🤣🤣
I have the pura used it for 2 months went back to my bath and body plug ins. I felt the pura was expensive and didn’t last long at all.
Did you do something different with your blush? Around your eyes (sides)
In my case…I just use my hair straightener if my clothes are wrinkled, it is specially great for linen
great video 😊 wondering if you would be willing to mention in the video how much these products cost?
Try the laundry sauce detergent pods!!!
How are you feeling about the Merit Solo Shadow now? I know initial review was a no. Has your opinion changed?
That stur is basically the cordial we have in the uk.
The Nori is probably great when travelling
I want to know how the butterfly pillow works. I keep seeing ads and want to try but haven’t. I did get on wait list for The ffern ledger. I got the Autumn 23 scent and hated it.
I love stur. I use the strawberry watermelon. But I use stevia instead of sugar in everything
You had my Alexa talking about the latest census. It spooked me. 🤣
STEVE -ia... Never heard Steveeah 😂👏🏻
Rachel, you can’t do a whole video with that gorgeous sweater and not tell us where it’s from 😍😍😍
Love Stur!!
I used to keep getting Insta ads for Keuzi boots after I watched a reel on fb 😅 so I gave in and bought a pair of their sheep fur (wtf is it called fur when it's wool 🤨) boots. Great as slippers, not as out-and-about boots though.
love your sweater
I have the pura 3 (so one generation older) and it has its issues, especially with connectivity, where it can only be connected via specific wifi hz so I have to do a whole process and its annoying AF. And the app for me is clunky but after a few years of just living with it, I like it overall. I like the nightlight function. 🤭
