Jairo would closer to win if they use their second round against jackpot here instead of their first. I hope we can see them next year, they are my fav tag team so far.
I love the unhinged beatbox fan moments of dlow’s videos but I equally enjoy he analyzes the battle from a professional’s perspective. Thanks for the great content!
Without a doubt the best breakdown of why Rogue Wave deserved the win. They both did so incredibly well but Rogue Wave just had more sonic oomph. Better and more consistent sound reproduction and clarity. Big big big ups to Jairo though, they were absolutely phenomenal and I can’t wait to see them again. ESH!
@laurensknn having both of those qualities you listed doesn't mean Jairo's rounds were better.... I can make a larger variety of sounds much faster, doesn't make me better.
The second round from Jairo is a cover of an artist called Fox Stevenson. He’s a UK Melodic DnB artist and he’s very very good. Definitely made me happy to hear his stuff covered on the GBB stage. Awesome cover 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Yep, Dont Care Crown! Fox Stevenson is so slept on he is my literal favorite artist and they covered it so well! Jairo released an official cover on their channel, highly recommend checking it out if you havent seen it!
DLOW!! Whats the best way to learn snort bass?! I want to learn it so bad but I'm struggling so bad with where the sound comes from. Also where do you get you bracelets?
As good as Jairo sound, when you compare the two teams- Jairo's set somtimes feels a little bit empty. They both performed amazing but Rogue Wave just showed more versatility and power. Big ups to both teams!
Hey d-low you could make a video of how to make the sound of uncorking the bottle is that I know how to make the hollow clop but a nose how to make the sound of uncorking the bottle pofis
If jairo came in like that last part in the First round, could be a different outcome. Felt like a well prepared round against rogue specifically but half the battle was done at that point and they nailed both rounds straight up
I think Rogue Wave learned it from the final in 2021 where they lost against Middle School, bcs they used musical style in one of their rounds and Middle School went full battle mode
What i feel jairo do really well is leaving space for the techniques to shine and bask in the light rather than being immediately pushed aside for the next thing. although they maybe leave to much space. Edit: They need some original sets.
Rogue Wave is the best in terms of technique, while Jairo is the best in terms of music. So Rogue Wave deserves to be the winner because this is a beatbox battle and almost 70% of what is assessed in tagteam beatbox battle is about technique and Rogue Wave is the winner in terms of technique. remember this is just my opinion about this battle, and I don't know much about tag team beatbox unlike you, so if you don't agree then just skip my comment. Edit: but overall dlow comment for this winning that is true and i agree!!
its not just that but Jairo mostly did covers for their whole set which you can mark against as. It's not that you shouldn't do covers but doing them so much shows a bit of lack of originality once you've already shown off how you spin the originals.
i hate when people refer technique and music. rogue wave won beacuse they were better, thats it. of course they are doing music. how can someone tell otherwise? rogue wave's music was better and overall they are better musicians than jairo.
@@7XL9you are misunderstanding the use of the word music, of course they are both doing music but musicality in beatboxing refers to others types of music outside of beatbox, like singing or melodies etc etc... Jairo were best in music because they sang better and created better melodies.. but beatbox wise roguewave was better, when it comes to a beatbox battle, being the best singer doesnt mean much but being the best beatboxer is very important
@@7XL9 a word used in different context means different things. musicality in the context of beatbox battles means another thing completely different like if i say whistle in the context of a beatbox battle that word has a different meaning then when i say whistle in a normal casual conversation with a non beatboxer
D-Low I must disagree with you because I've never been a competitor at a GBB before and I just know music and beatbox better than you and what I think is that Jairo won this because that's what I felt in my left toe on this particular day. Also musicality > technicality in a battle somehow, because I can't be bothered to watch The Voice but I want this competition to be the voice. Have a good day.
I keep watching this and more and more I dislike how Jairo reacted to losing in the winners ceremony. Sure they can have a moment of sadness because they lost, but they dont even seem or show happiness for Rogue Wave, its kinda irritating
I’m not hating or anything but the only team that actually battles was rogue wave and rofu the others just done their own performance which is fine I have nothing against that but it is a battle that’s what we’ve come to see. I don’t know a little anti climactic I think the real final was rogue wave and rofu. I think this was one of the worst tag team events for a long time. That’s no disrespect to the performers they’re brilliant but it wasn’t much of a battle which I thought was the whole purpose of this event. I’m sorry if I come across as a hater I’m not trying to be im just a lil disappointed
They have skill but I know what you mean. Kind of more singing than beatboxing the real final was rogue wave vs rofu. I feel it was very disappointing and anti climactic seems they are too nice and don’t want to battle but perform. Probably down to lack of experience battling
I would prefer choose Jairo, they sounded more musical, that's how u use beatbox properly. Rogue wave just use some technics but there's no music like Jairo. Codfish beats dlow coz his turn sounded like music, even dlow has more technics than him.
Jairo second round, the "japanese sounding set", is a cover of "fox stevenson - don't care crown" and he's from the UK
Yeah, Jairo has a few covers of fox stevenson's dnb, all of which use the same kind of drumline
I believe anime openings tend to have that vibe, so maybe D-Low was thinking of that.
Jairo would closer to win if they use their second round against jackpot here instead of their first. I hope we can see them next year, they are my fav tag team so far.
Eh, it comes down to subjective opinion, i also hope they compete next gbb, vice champs apparently almost always win the next gbb 😂
@@nebojsavelickovic5388twice in a row now, middle school and then rogue wave

Same can be said for rogue wave. If they used their rounds from the semi final but in the grand final they would win by a much larger margin
Really love the in-depth analysis at the end, D-Low!

I feel like Jairo lacked power in the second round but good battle tho
Too relaxed for the final battle imo
I feel in terms of a battle, it didn’t feel like it from Jairo, despite how incredibly musical they are
I think Rogue Wave learned it from the final in 2021 where they lost against Middle School, bcs they used musical style in one of their rounds and Middle School went full battle mode
Can't say rogue wave's 2nd round felt japanese because it's a cover of fox stevenson lol
