I saw this iteration of the Midnights wrestle in person in 1985 at the Cobb County Civic Center in Marietta, Georgia. They were teaming with Bob Roop against Dick Slater, Buzz Sawyer and Brett Wayne Sawyer. The Face team won, but got powder thrown in their eyes and bloodied on the security railing afterwards. This brings back those pleasant memories.
One of the best feuds? Midnight vs Midnight. Best way it could have been resolved? Fight in a Series of Matches.... have a 3 on 3 (Bobby, Stan & Corney vs Dennis, Rose & Dangerously.) Have Rose + Dangerously botch moves that Condrey Obviously wouldn't.... Then in a SWERVE Dennis Reunites w/Bobby, Stan + Corny and they win the 6 Man Titles as well as World and/or US Tag Titles under Freebird Rules!

Out when they did the Midnight vs Midnight Feud? Then have Bobby, Stan, and Dennis Stand Together in the Ring and wrestle under "Freebird Rules"

Stan had a certain pizzazz and well Dennis he was a great worker who filled the worker/bruiser/brawler everyman role, you look at him and see a guy that looks like he could be your neighbor or uncle or _____ it kinda is like these guys shouldn't be able to win but they are, so he had the skill! Which Duo of the Trio were you gonna get? And you needed to l👀k out for the lone Midnite on the outside!
My favorite Tag Team and theme song of all-time. Hates the BS they replaced Morodors theme with...ugh. Bobby and Dennis, no other version was the REAL Midnight Express. They were a great tag team for sure one of the top 3 in history in my opinion.
Shame that Jim Crockett Promotions couldn't acquire the rights to use "Chase" for The Midnight Express theme. Georgio Moroder wanted too much money. However, I really liked their alternate "in-house" music better.

Moroder is allowing ppl like us to use his songs for free on our personal TH-cam channels for content and that’s more the 95% of the other leeches in the music business allow their fans!
