Just stumbled on your channel, Father. Enjoyed it, thank you. A bishop once gave an explanation of the virginal conception of Jesus that blew my mind in its simplicity and logic. He said that at the Annunciation, Mary received from the Holy Spirit fullness of life; having fullness of life, Mary was able to generate a son without needing help from a man, something other women are not capable of; in this, Mary is like God the Father who is fullness of life and generates His Son without help from anyone. I think I got that right. God bless.

I always think about how Mary was delivered to the Temple by her parents (as promised) at the age of three. She knew even then that She wanted dedicate Her life to serving God. Three years old!

The annunciation was happened nine months before the birth of our Lord that's why it is on March 25.
God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth with a message for Mary, who was promised in marriage to Joseph. The angel told Mary that she would have a son, whom she was to name Jesus. The angel said, “He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High God.” Mary asked how this could be as she was a virgin.
