Had this "issue" in the austrian mountains. It appeared we where driving downhill, but the fully packed toyota ago only went slower and slower. To the point i set the car next to the highway thibking it was broken. It was the moment we exited the car we relealised it was actually an uphill climb 😅 indeed the mountains around is made us unable to see the horizon.

There's a spot at Moonbi lookout near Tamworth NSW, Australia.
It's on a small stretch of road , around 100 metres, slightly uphill. Starts off moving slowly but you speed up.
I'd only ever seen videos of this and wasn't sure if it was real. To learn there was a spot 20 minutes from the town I live...!
    Mind blown!!
For all those skeptics out there, google it. There could be a spot near you. You won't know unless you google it. There is nothing obvious in the surroundings. I drove past the spot thousands of times before I learned about it.

I’ll then have a little bing watching plonkers crash their Bee Em Vees (I am subbed to a German guy who talks WW2, especially aircraft. Some German planes were powered by Bee Em Vee engines). I don’t understand why more Mercedes don’t crash- the average Mercedes driver is a much bigger plonker than yer average BMW (W is pronounced as a V by Germans) driver.
