  • Rishi Sunak said he has made a choice to “prioritise defence” as he declined to rule out cuts to other spending areas outside the NHS and schools, defending his pledge as “fully funded”.
The Prime Minister has committed to reaching 2.5% of gross domestic product (GDP) by 2030, spending more than £75 billion more on defence over the next six years compared with current levels.
TalkTV’s Ian Collins discusses the national security situation with former defence secretary Sir Michael Fallon as armed conflicts grow worldwide.

The first thing the government needs to do is secure our shores and deal with the fifth column within.

@@Theforestbanditdon’t create wars around the world and displacing men from their children and wives, stop looting other countries and tell your government to stop going across the world and policing other nations. Or send in the French, Germans and American ms to do a regime change here. We are here now so sit back relax and joy. Us aliens are not going anywhere quick, whether we’re 3rd or first generation immigrants or just here now. Maybe you might need another scumbag like Winston Churchill to run this country ❤❤❤❤

We have always been told ww3 is imminent since the end of ww2, but of course there can be no WW3 because of nuclear weapons, do you think we or France would not push the button if we were being invaded or Russia for that fact. Its just hype, Russia have gained hardly any ground after ten years of invading Ukraine, they are not the force you are being told they are.

They need to deal with the enemy within in our country first before they even think about taking on any other foreign countries!!!!

The extra money won't make a blind bit of difference unless they can actually recruit people into the armed forces!!!!

What you have to remember, the budget make be going up, it has to pay pensions, salaries of which will be increasing over the same time period of seven years, you cannot pre-spend, of which HMG do's every day.
