I just Found My roof rack on FB Marketplace. They wanted $100 but it never sold and got it for $50! The box was never opened brand new! Crazy

So want to do a project like this have had 3 beetles in the past and never thought about doing mods like this lmao.

It's an original VW Beetle roof rack.
be careful, I tried the cheap roof rack with the ratchet and it ripped right off on the hwy
Did yours come with the key? What hardware is needed to install?
Yes it came with a key. Just need a tool from VW to tighten the rack on.
@@RelicsRingsdid you get a tool from Volkswagen? I have the same racks but no tool for tightening and they told me (2 diff dealers) that it’s too old to get toolNow…..any help you could provide would be awesome and much appreciated…
