Rabbi Tova, the best way to do that is to familiarise Jews with their heritage to make them more appreciative of Judaism, so they won’t buy anything else.
I am a medical doctor in Australia who has studied ( both professionally and personally) TANACH in details.

@@bubbagumpy978 He has addressed this multiple times. He's discussed the trinity, he's talked about how Christians claim it's still ONE G d. He's talked about the comparison some use that the trinity is like an egg with a shell, a white, and a yolk. Watch his videos and you will find the answer. Bottom line is this. The Tanakh says over and over in G D's words that he is one, there is none beside Him, and to believe so is a mistake

1 Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the ordinances and to the laws which I teach you to do, that ye may live and go in, and possess the land, which the Lord God of your fathers giveth you.

Its interesting in our opening prayer as muslims we also start by addressing Allah in the third person. It starts "All praise is due to Allah Lord of the worlds. The Most Gracious The Most Mericiful. Master of the Day of Judgment." After that then we enter second person "You alone we worship and You alone we ask for help." I liked seeing the similarities between the two prayers.

With all due respect, although there are many similarities between how Muslims and Jews pray/believe, there are still some major and significant differences. For instance, we would never dare refer to Allah as a husband nor are we His children, we are children of man not of God…we are simply His humble servants/slaves!!! Any interjections of ideas or descriptions of our relationship between The Creator and His creations that wasn’t revealed to us are simply innovations and our own imagination. As Muslims, we must reject not praise innovations!!! Out of brotherly love in humanity , my advice to you is, don’t soak up everything you hear just because it may sound warm & loving! Allah knows best!

In *Exodus 4:22-23* HaShem refers to Israel as His firstborn son.
I don’t expect you, being a Muslim, to necessarily accept this but since this is a channel for Jewish learning any Jewish visitors reading your comment should also be presented with what HaShem has preserved for us in Tanach.

So, don’t fall apart just because we don’t see eye to eye on every single part of our respective scriptures!!!
This in no way mocking your scripture but the idea of God being a husband totally goes against our beliefs so by all means follow your your interpretations and we will follow the Words of Allah (SWT) as was revealed to us through the Quran! What you do with Jesus, depends where you spend eternity. Jesus is the "Emmanuel" [God with Us] Matthew 1:23; Isaiah 7:14; Mary's fertilized egg had only God's DNA [genetic characteristics] that God and Jesus shared with each other. The DNA shared made God and Jesus "Identical Twins or Clone" of the Heavenly Father "Yahweh". John 14:7; John 14:1; John 10:30-33; Jesus did not share any DNA or BLOOD with His earthly mother, shewas only an "Sarragut-Host" because the DNA and BLOOD would have made Jesus Imperfect because of Adam's Sin. 1 Corinthians 15:21-23; John 14:7; John 14:7-10; 3:16; 16:16; Matthew 19:26; Luke 18:27; 1;37; John3:1; Mark 1:17; John 11:25

The assertion that God understands our needs better than we do aligns with the biblical teaching of God’s omniscience.
As stated in Matthew 6:8, "Your Father knows what you need before you ask him." The act of prayer is not to inform God of our needs but to align ourselves with His will and deepen our relationship with Him. Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us to present our requests to God, promising peace that transcends understanding.
Worship, both in the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament, involves recognizing God’s holiness and our dependence on Him, as exemplified in Hannah’s prayer (1 Samuel 2:2).
This humility and reverence reflect a heart fully aware of God's sovereignty and grace.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I bless you all!

"Keep this mental attitude that was also in Christ Jesus; who, although he was existing in God's form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God." Philippians 2: 5, 6. "A voice out of the cloud overshadowed them, and look! A voice out of the cloud, saying: "This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved; listen to Him." Matthew 17: 5. This idea; that Christ was God, came from the Great apostasy 2Thessaloninans 2: 3 and the 'man of lawlessness' became revealed. This is seen at present as clerics are being charged and convicted; and imprisoned, for crimes against children. But God's word the Bible John 17: 17 reveals the truth. Christ is; and always was; the Son of God 1John 5: 5. God is Christ's Head Corinthians 11: 3.

In Islam . Prayer could be the physical act or the mental one . The ritual starts with having the intention to pray to gad and cleansing your body , and choosing a clean place . The mental parts could should be part of the physical one or independent . You can praise the lord anywhere and whenever you want , but Salat is a codified ritual of acts and sayings .
First , you need to fear god if you want him to answer your prayers. Believe in only him , no lies, no fornication , no stealing …. Then you can address god . Start by praising him and recognising his uniqueness and power and your weakness and helplessness then ask . In Islam , the best answered prayer is the volunteer one , as opposed to the five daily prayers, before dawn when everyone is asleep and in the position of prostration and cry if you can . Give donation to the poor . All these aspect will help.

My favorite scene from the movie Ushpizin framed in an orthodox neighborhood of Jerusalem with an orthodox married couple at the time of Sukkot was the kitchen scene. The wife is talking to someone, you don't quite know who yet. She is speaking in such an intimate tone, almost as if to a lover or husband. She says things like, "You are always so sweet to me..." and we find out later in the scene that she is speaking to G-d.

Salam Mr. Singer I'm a muslim and we have this story of the mother of Maryam as she calls upon god to bless her with a boy so he can serve god in their house of worship . But god blesses her with a girl maryam the mother of prophet Isaa (jesus) .
I wonder how the Torah finishes this story about Hana.

As a Muslims how perfectly what Rabbi said align with the beginning of all the prayers 5 time a day, It begins like this:
In the Name of Allah-the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.
All praise is for Allah-Lord of all worlds,
    the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful,
Master of the Day of Judgment.
You ˹alone˺ we worship and You ˹alone˺ we ask for help.
Guide us along the Straight Path,
the Path of those You have blessed-not those You are displeased with, or those who are astray.1
Thanks you Rabbi making me aware of my prayer..

The original word for pray in hebrew is to think. That blew my mind because thats been my experience with God but it didnt fit any christian models. In fact many Christians discourage thinking. I saw this church bill board that said, "A free thinker is Satans slave"
    ! what a lie !

    Tovia.
You should not be making generalizations when people ask you these sorts of questions. You could not possibly be accurate in saying "Jews" do this or Jews do that as if everyone who is Jewish would be doing exactly what you state.
Not only this, but you should clarify in that if you wish to show evidence from Torah how one is supposed to speak to the Almighty then you should show actual quotations from the Torah that is written that was given at Mount Sinai.
We have statutes for all sorts of behaviour. We are not to curse our father and mother, go about being a talebearer against people and even not taking the Almighty's Name in vain. If there was something in scripture in the same vein on how to talk to Him then surely He would have given it.
You should concentrate on that evidence and not giving the party line.

That is actually such a beautiful message, and it is messages like that, that cause me to fall more and more in love with Judaism each day.
The fact that we are capable of loving another person, and especially the gift of falling in love is, as far as I am concerned, the greatest evidence for the existence of G-d, and how wonderful He truly is.
