Something that never made sense to me is why taller players are often bad shooters. When you're playing ball as a kid on a smaller hoop, it feels so much easier to make. It makes sense to me that a taller player should theoretically have an easier time making a shoot at a normal size hoop compared to a player of smaller stature.
- Larger players have a different body structure, so their shooting mechanics are generally different to complement their size. - Because of their size and longer limbs, maintaining a consistent shooting mechanics is hard. - Shooting Coaches that fit their body size. I think there's only a few shooting coaches that can help taller players shoot efficiently.

I mean ngl, he’s a beast at basketball but he does seem really immature. The whole thing where he forced the bucks to put his brother on the team and continues to hold bucks management hostage if they don’t is literally the definition of unprofessionalism. And that only comes with being stupid, or immature. And imo it’s the later cause he doesn’t seem that dumb.
Basically, I heard in the most polite way are the Bucks acts so brain dead and stupid on the court, good chunk of it is due to Doc Rivers. However, another portion is with Giannis and Dame unable to play alongside each other. Giannis plays so dangerously, and acts like a child. Honestly, make sense that he hasn't done anything in the past three years so sad. Hope they get better, but I really doubt they will.
Excellent breakdown as always but man isn't this what watching film is for? The entire coaching staff not just Doc should be able to see every single mistake that coach Nick explained, so why arent they doing this too????
I like the way the video portrays Doc as the evil master in the end lol I know my Bucks are not a championship team. It's due to management, personnel, and coaching.
The highlights of the Bucks defense just shows the lack of communication between the players! Its almost like they haven't done any defensive reps during practice.
This stuff just reminds me when Gil said Gianni’s isn’t good at basketball, he’s just REALLY good at doing one thing and it’s unguardable… I remember watching the infamous grizlys game from last year, the majority of his points came from bringing the ball up or transition

It's pretty damning that this late in his career the Greek freak still can't post up... It would make it so much easier to stop teams from building a wall against him in the playoffs.. especially since he's not a good shooter
He was at least partially responsible for getting Budenholzer sacked, although Bud did not help himself, but Giannis was whining like a child. Now they have Doc Rivers. He is the new Lebron James.
1) Giannis is a child 2) He is better than any player on the Celtics 3) He gets fouled way more than any fouls he dishes out 4) Doc Rivers is the reason the Bucks are struggling this season

To be fair to Doc, who has it harder than Doc, man? He's always put in a position to fail with bad teams or tough situations, if not both. It's simply not fair to expect him to succeed when he's always being set up to fail. Maybe next team that gives him a coaching job will have a winning roster and won't ask him to take over midseason before a brutal stretch.
It's Doc Rivers. Giannis and Dame have issues, but rarely have I seen a championship caliber team fail basic defensive principles and discombobulated offensive sets. Start a petition, open a lawsuit, protest in the streets-Doc gotta go
First minute and a half can already tell he hates Gianni's game . Like, every bball breakdown with giannis is always taking shots its kinda crazy. I bet this dude would say shaq was to physical and hate on him back in the 90s
I wish bucks take kuminfa, moody, draymond for giannis, actually no cause he don't like setting pick and that defeats a one two curry punch happening, also dray defense is just tough to lose
The Bucks are awful and Dame never asked to be there. But he's getting all the blame. Giannis was the one pressuring the front office to make a move. The front office are the ones who gave up their defense for a star who they already knew was a defensive liability.
To be fair, Dame gives effort on D, it was the defensive sets that is the problem. His scoring efficiency were also affected with their offensive sets. Not a fan of Dam, but gotta feel bad for him being stuck to a team he didn't ask for. Imagine him under Spo with Bam and Butler, 2 defensive specialists that does good team movement and can take over.
It's been stated over and over again that Dame "Okay'd" the trade. Go back & watch Dame interviews, he's been saying for years that the player he'd want to play with the most is Giannis. Dame, Pat Connaughton, & Giannis even had a private group chat together, that started years before this trade even happened.
LOL, coach has been hating on Giannis and the bucks since coach bud's days. You can hear him how savage it comes off and the enjoyment coming out of him when he calls Giannis post ups mediocre at best. Not being a bucks fan, I just find it entertaining.
I love how everyone says that Doc Rivers is the reason why they are so bad, when they all forget that the Bucks have the worst owner in all of sports right now, who by the way hasn't learned a damn thing from the Deshaun Watson Trade and Hue Jackson.
The Bucks seem like they have all the bad habits you would expect from players that were coached by Bud and are coached by Doc Rivers. Bucks have been giving up alot of 3s for years and the Sixers did not have particularly dynamic offenses with Harden and Embiid at the helm
That's the same shit that made me pretty much think Dwight Howard was a douche. Two things can be true - you might be a decent person and happen to like to joke around like Howard claimed, and when you do stupid things, it says a lot about parts of your character, or lack there of. Don't cry about people hating on you when you do things like that. Suck it up and start growing up, and show people you're improving as a human being.
Bucks front office should shoulder most of the blame... As The GM, you should only focus on what the team was really lacking. Not bend the knee to your superstars. Give him the help, not what he wants.

Carbon ham was laughing when giannis undercut Tatum on a three . Dangerous play and you can see ham laughing
The real problem is that the Bucks are old, injury prone and have no team chemistry. Giannis should leave if he wants to compete and win.
13:49 Just happy Boston have Jrue now. He always plays best at crunch time.
Coach you’ve always been spot on and fair with your takes on Giannis and the Bucks. Agree with everything you said here.
Idk about 'spot on'.. he said last year before the season started that Dame wouldn't negatively influence the Bucks defense..... Aged like cottage cheese
I would add that giannis receives JUST AS MUCH contact if not more. Brown just shoves him and you barely gave it a passing mention. Shame on jb and jt for intentionally shoving and grappling. Cant just have in one way.
Thanks! I really appreciate you saying that 🙏🏀🙏
@@dre32pitt That's more of a coaching thing. For whatever reason, yall think Jrue Holiday was the ONLY reason the Bucks defense was good over the years lmao. Well, if you did your research, you'd know that their defense was ranked even better before Jrue got there. Coach Bud is just a better defensive (and overall) coach than Griffin & Rivers.
@@lazzi2462 I hear you but it's as simple as addition and subtraction.. They subtracted a very good defender and added a very poor defender.. it's not rocket science lol..
Giannis skills in the pain is painfull to watch, he dunks that's it.
Nice finger rolls, and his 15ft jumper actually looks ok this season.
Just terrible free throws, 3pt, and post moves.
Mr Run and Dunk man
Giannis always been a dirty player but he eat oreo milkshake for the first time so it's all okay
Giannis is one of the most well like players in the league on the court and off the court
I'd say clumsy
Yooo foreeal his clumsiness is beyond words.
He is a good player yea yea sure I will agree
But boy oh boy does he make the wrong decisions many times. And worst yet is that when he makes a mistale he'll sometimes even dig himself even deeper into the mistake!
Also, se doesn't have any foot work or can post up.
Least talented super star ever.
@@Zecamilleo Can't nobody stop him from attacking the paint tho unless you use a great post defender and great help defender like the 2019 Raptors did with Serge Ibaka and Marc Gasol
1:13 whoa, he said this without an accent. Caught me off guard
Im glad yall openinh this up thank you so since we talking about this as a bulls and basketball fan in general i feel i can give my take giannis has came a long way but i feel like something that hasnt been talked about being rewarded for being out of control and overpowered he can hoop he understands his strengths and weaknesses like most but everyone has watched his game tbh his bullies his way to the paint not saying you shouldnt when your someone like his size but do it under control is all im saying he knows how to move his body to get the position he wants but does the extra with the elbows its another thing in his game i feel if he really gets down packed they more than likely can make a comeback this season let dame work i think giannis is too ball dominant to play with someone like same these are two ball dominant players you have to have one thats not and can impact the game still without having the ball in their hands always
In summary Giannis runs and dunks , no skill and Doc rivers won a super team ring and people thought he was competent coach from that one ring
Everyone but his delusional fans knows this. Remember when he got bounced out in the first round and said that dumb shet,” Ain’t no such thing as failure”, and you had TNT and delusional fanboys acting like he said some Psychological shet? 😭😭😭
he was good with the clippers they just ran into the warriors. If not for that I think they win a ring.
@@juwilballHe also blew a 3-1 lead against the Rockets. He wasn't winning a ring with the Clippers
So Shaq has no skill either correct? Just because he is the best at driving doesn’t mean he isn’t skilled in other areas yk
@@juwilball Buddy the Clippers lost to the Rockets and Jazz with CP3...
I do not like Giannis' game. He plays dirty. Thank you for highlighting this. He is a goon...and yes, a child.
Darvin Ham goes to the Bucks and Taurean Prince follows him and gets playing minutes. What a coincidence.
LOL, Giannis is the only player worth of any value on the Bucks' roster.
@@EmperorTime They never had to learn how to shoot from deep effectively.. their coach wouldve been like, 'WTH ARE YOU DOING?! GET IN THE PAINT AND MURDER THOSE PEONS!!!' lol
I think its hand size. Try to shoot a tennis ball with 2 hands, its so awkward. Watch shaq shoot FT, it looks just like me shooting a childs ball
@@martydastooge Yep hand size also factors in. Reason why Rondo can't shoot efficiently on his early NBA years.
This is amazing analysis as usual
I mean ngl, he’s a beast at basketball but he does seem really immature. The whole thing where he forced the bucks to put his brother on the team and continues to hold bucks management hostage if they don’t is literally the definition of unprofessionalism. And that only comes with being stupid, or immature. And imo it’s the later cause he doesn’t seem that dumb.
The offense they should be trying are lillard-lopez pick and roll, giannis postups and middleton playmaking. They will need this in the playoffs
Its been known that Doc doesnt make any adjustments during the game. Even during celts he just relied on star power to win
Seeing THAT much confusion plays from bucks, it surprises me how close the game still was at the end.
awesome vid
Doc Rivers had entire training camp this time to destroy bucks yall
Excellent breakdown as always but man isn't this what watching film is for? The entire coaching staff not just Doc should be able to see every single mistake that coach Nick explained, so why arent they doing this too????
That all Giannis did in the NBA finals vs the Suns, elbows and shoulder down ramming, but never got called for offensive fouls
Our season is so finished 😢 the window is closed
Man, this kind of offensive confusion is something you see at a park or local gym, not at professional basketball. It hurts to watch
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 thank you coach 🫡
I like the way the video portrays Doc as the evil master in the end lol I know my Bucks are not a championship team. It's due to management, personnel, and coaching.
The highlights of the Bucks defense just shows the lack of communication between the players! Its almost like they haven't done any defensive reps during practice.
They can win with Giannis injured other teams best player, it works few season ago
The Bucks raised this child, they are to blame
This stuff just reminds me when Gil said Gianni’s isn’t good at basketball, he’s just REALLY good at doing one thing and it’s unguardable… I remember watching the infamous grizlys game from last year, the majority of his points came from bringing the ball up or transition
You’re literally describing shaq and all of a sudden it’s a problem lmao. If you’re going to reference an ex players basketball take, choose anyone but Gilbert Arenas. That guy doesn’t have a single objective take in his body.
@@user-wy1et9dk9w Giannis is actually more like D12 than Shaq, imo..
@@user-wy1et9dk9w you’re probly right about Gil. But watch Giannis and tell me I’m wrong.
The diff is Shaq WON and changed the game
no one thinks Giannis is going to win 3 more Chips, which would match Shaq, tho stranger things have happened.
This guy screams the type of coach that shows a drill to kids but never executes it himself. You know that type.
It's pretty damning that this late in his career the Greek freak still can't post up... It would make it so much easier to stop teams from building a wall against him in the playoffs.. especially since he's not a good shooter
Great breakdown
Bro, just run Horns action with Brook popping, Giannis diving & Dame making the read. Have T.P & Bobby in the corners.
He was at least partially responsible for getting Budenholzer sacked, although Bud did not help himself, but Giannis was whining like a child.
Now they have Doc Rivers.
He is the new Lebron James.
I get you want a new coach but why Doc? And before you had griffin who is better
Giannis play style gets so old and annoying to watch sometimes
Coach Mike and Jrue are having a good time in Phoenix and Boston lmao.
Giannis, Brook n Bobby are just plain bad perimeter defenders against shooters, the team is more worried about 2 pointers than 3’s
I bet they could win 70% of their games if they hired Adrian Griffin.
They have great pieces. The coaching staff just have to know how to use them.
1) Giannis is a child
2) He is better than any player on the Celtics
3) He gets fouled way more than any fouls he dishes out
4) Doc Rivers is the reason the Bucks are struggling this season
imagine u have negative energy and run around thinking how to hit an opponent hard but for it to look like a normal move. There now ur playing like giannis lol
Sounds like Embiid and Draymond to me.
Coach , get rid of that Bilt commercial before it's too late.
Massive scam "allegedly"
Not resigning jrue holiday will haunt the bucks forever
Giannis wears the hat of a child…..”Broadwalk Empire”
To be fair to Doc, who has it harder than Doc, man? He's always put in a position to fail with bad teams or tough situations, if not both. It's simply not fair to expect him to succeed when he's always being set up to fail. Maybe next team that gives him a coaching job will have a winning roster and won't ask him to take over midseason before a brutal stretch.
It's Doc Rivers. Giannis and Dame have issues, but rarely have I seen a championship caliber team fail basic defensive principles and discombobulated offensive sets. Start a petition, open a lawsuit, protest in the streets-Doc gotta go
I don't understand why Doc Rivers keeps getting a coaching job in the NBA when we see all his previous teams...
First minute and a half can already tell he hates Gianni's game . Like, every bball breakdown with giannis is always taking shots its kinda crazy.
I bet this dude would say shaq was to physical and hate on him back in the 90s
Bro the whole world hating on giannis rn that bucks team was nothing before he got there
That elbow was vicious. So dirty.
with dumb and dumber on the bench i'm not surprised they're struggling this much
Giannis is a cornball
Giannis unguarded because of his size, strength, length, athleticism the only team that can limit/contain him is the miami heat
No team can overcome having Doc & Ham Sandwich as a coach.
I'd love to see Giannis in Charlotte with LaMelo ...will never happen but that combo would be crazy
Stagnant offense is such a Darvin Ham move
I wish bucks take kuminfa, moody, draymond for giannis, actually no cause he don't like setting pick and that defeats a one two curry punch happening, also dray defense is just tough to lose
The Tatum sprain is concerning. That needs to be banned. The nets example is not Giannis being dirty. It’s rebounding.
If Dame were om the Heat.... sheesh... Boston may not have made it to the second round last year.
@lazzi2462
Wanted to play with Giannis in Portland. Not in Milwaukee, under Doc "The Disaster" Rivers.
Another issue is that docs teams famously practice less than others, even by todays standards
Don't worry. I'm sure if Darvin Ham convinces Rivers to give Taurean Prince more minutes all their problems will be solved.
LOL, coach has been hating on Giannis and the bucks since coach bud's days. You can hear him how savage it comes off and the enjoyment coming out of him when he calls Giannis post ups mediocre at best. Not being a bucks fan, I just find it entertaining.
Thanks for calling it out coach, Giannis is a dirty player.
I love how everyone says that Doc Rivers is the reason why they are so bad, when they all forget that the Bucks have the worst owner in all of sports right now, who by the way hasn't learned a damn thing from the Deshaun Watson Trade and Hue Jackson.
the bucks owner also owns Aston Villa. which is currently one of the best soccer teams in all of europe right now.
The Bucks seem like they have all the bad habits you would expect from players that were coached by Bud and are coached by Doc Rivers. Bucks have been giving up alot of 3s for years and the Sixers did not have particularly dynamic offenses with Harden and Embiid at the helm
Bucks are losing because of Awful Coaching
That's the same shit that made me pretty much think Dwight Howard was a douche. Two things can be true - you might be a decent person and happen to like to joke around like Howard claimed, and when you do stupid things, it says a lot about parts of your character, or lack there of. Don't cry about people hating on you when you do things like that. Suck it up and start growing up, and show people you're improving as a human being.
Bucks front office should shoulder most of the blame...
As The GM, you should only focus on what the team was really lacking. Not bend the knee to your superstars. Give him the help, not what he wants.
