Amazing that over a decade since this desk was released people are still making new tutorials
True. Like the Nikon D500.
REALLY good job! Not only is this a great tutorial for this specific board, but also it's just a great audio engineering tutorial in general for someone who's less experienced-talking about all the basic settings you'd need to adjust!
I thought the world of digital mixers would be complicated but thanks for this video. Very well explained & simplified👍🙏
What an outstanding job.
Very clear explanations, very easy to understand, perfect presentation.
Big thank you !!
I use my X32 as the center of my studio, because it can be used as an excellent-quality 32-channel audio interface. The X32 is less expensive than a 32-channel audio interface, plus you get all the mixer, buses, FX and other features on top of it all.
Use to go to a Church that had at least 4 of these great console!
Does the X 32 have a preamp inside?
@@raviakber it has 32 of them.
@@ScottsSynthStuff x 32 also has a preamp?
I used it last year consistently and using it again soon and was thinking about buying the mini for myself to own and use as an audio interface. Was wondering why it isn't done more. Studio mixing desks are overrated ahah, ofc they each specialise differently, this is objectively better live and those are objectively better mixers for recording but still.
X32 is such a wonderful console even after many years! I just sold ours for the WING. More routing options & more input channels
Bought My X32 In 2016 For 2300 Dollars, Now It's Worth 3000, So I Hope You Didn't Let It Go For Cheap.
@@babysunn2 I did but it was for a church so… gotta help out

Thank you so much sir for your packaged information.
Something that maybe needs to be addressed... While the input meter looked perfectly fine, the amount of gain dialed into that SM58 to get that level certainly looked excessive (and not just a little bit). Typically, if a user was to need that much gain on an SM58 (even when used for speaking), I'd be suggesting they look for a problem in the signal chain between source and console (like a bad mic or "one legged" mic cable).
Was there perhaps something else connected inline between the SM58 and the X32 (a padded splitter perhaps)?
In any case, the information presented was solid. The metering was fine as well. I'd just reinforce to follow the input meters for gain, and tell viewers that the amount gain that was applied to the SM58 in this video, to get that input level on the meters, was way higher than the gain knob would normally ride to achieve that input level on a vocal. And that is typically a sign of a problem or misapplied setting on an outboard device, etc. somewhere in the signal chain between mic and console.
Really enjoyed the demo, thanks Mitch and crew!
I have a behringer ultrabase amp I've used for 5 years very happy with it
I actually managed to connect the condenser mic and make it work with the help of this legend, pretty proud of myself:)
Thank you sir!
This is great. Sending it to all of our new / training sound volunteers.
Awesome. Really visual, hands-on and practical. Makes it easy to follow along and learn practically.
This looks like a really powerful console. Very professional. Great video, thanks 🤘
Nice walkthrough. I primarily use the X32Rack, but occasionally get to use the full surface.
We have an XR18 looking forward to upgrading to X32 Thank You for the video
thank ya very much, this is the Mixer I will be running this weekend and needed "the low down" on how it works.I am meeting up with another Tech tonight for a quick run through but I think I can hack my way through now...thanks again.
Great VID My church has a Presonus 32 channel digital live board that we do not understand and can not get features like Reverb to work. We us as a analog board. When it dies we will probably get a Behringer X32. This seems to work as designed. Thanks for the video. Love the Reverb.
thanks for that introduction on the X32.. I got a WING on order . we would be grateful to have the same walkthrough on that as well. thanks again :)
That reverb sounded great.
Great information. I will be using the X32 for the first time tonite at a club gig for 3 bands. Hope it goes well. Thx
How you gave the nuggets so apt. Thank you.
Thanks for showing this Monster.
Legendary piece of gear!
Please do a step-by-step guide for the Mackie DL16/32s mixers please!!!
It was so helpful thanks for your time Sir
Fantastic board! Gorgeous! Really does seem user friendly, too. I love it. Great demo, Mitch. Thank you. I’m curious about what it weighs. Visually, it appears to be quite heavy. However, I’ll bet Behringer put deep concern into that aspect as well. Bravo, Lads!!
Excellent overview! Thank you!
wow what a incredible class very accurate and simple explanation 👌👌👌👊👊👊
Excellent video! Thank you for sharing
My Only Wish Is To See These Demonstrations Combined With The Popular DAW'S (FL STUDIO, LOGIC, PROSONUS) Ran In Windows And Or Mac. I'm Sure Most People Would Love To Know These Things, Because The 32 In and Out Via USB Is EXTREMLY COMPLICATED... Especially With How Do We Set It Up With Ethernet So We Can Control our DAW's From The X32 and or From our X32's To Our PC's DAW... WE ARE SO LACKING IN HOW TO DO This.
Amazing video thank you so much, this helped me massively
Wow. Thank you.
Thank you so much!
Just amazing
Very very helpful! Thanks :)
Great video, question, why is that light on the right hand side under the Assign section, the effects, continually flashing?
This Was Perfect Thank You
Well done!
Awesome. Thanks🎉
I have an exam on this tomorrow and you explained it so well, thank you!!
Thank you
Thankyou
Hello thx for a good lesson, but I do have a question about how to take off the acco in microphones please
wonderful
We need a in studio DAW version like this video..
But great video all the same.
Can you do one for the presonus studiolive 64s too
That's really interesting, we you didn't even go to the routing section. You simply selected the main stereo bus out and push up the master fader. Did i fet that right?
i love it, more lessons
Many people say that this board has very durable faders, is this true and how often did you change yours?
how long did it take to build the system 😮
could we see one of the sq6 please?
How do you turn on the X32
A time stamp chart for the layout of this video would be very appreciated .
Question: I just purchased this console. Where can I get information on setting it up for our gospel group. I have called many places but I’m still at the start point ? And the manual that came with it is only 4 pages and there’s no real explanation of this digital board. ???? Any help would be appreciated
i want it
I see allot of these in house of worship. Looks pretty ease to work. I wonder how this mixer conventions differ from say a Allen Heath or something.
Does the X 32 have a preamp inside?
Hello, Ravi! Yes it does! In the case of the full-sized X32, it has 32 mic preamps on board.
Thanks for the interest!

X32
Well money Mitch can I do a podcast off this x32
Time stamps would go a long way with this video.

Tsk tsk 2nd!!
It was over my head. Need videos for people who do not have a clue what you are talking about. I don't know any of the technical terms you are talking about. I am totally lost.
This was a waste. I hear nothing following his steps.
Step #1 Never buy anything made by Behringer
This console might be the one exception. Behringer is terrible, and Midas’s M32 is clearly superior. But you will not get the functionality and flexibility you can get out of an X32 on other consoles in the price range.
How do I get Mitch Gallagher's job?
Great mixer but I prefer Presonus Studiolive III, is also an amazing mixer! But X32 eat the market and win over the Studiolive at that moment (more that 12 years ago). Every time that I have the option to choose between X32, M32, or Studiolive III, i always choose Presonus Studiolive series III, I mean SL16III, SL24III, SL32III, or the actual SL32SC, SL32XS OR SL32S.
Working with X32 is fine, but I feel the StudioLive more intuitive and friendly user. Both are amazing mixers.
