Second one is little-known way - we'll create isometric grid in few clicks using Grid tool. This Illustrator tutorial is for beginners and advanced users who want to get started with isometric design.

    After you skew the lines in the second video you lose the vertical lines. How do you add back the vertical lines?

    Thank you! ❤️ I didn't know about 2nd way, will definetely use it. I would also mention, that we need to lock this grid layer and start drawing on new one, but it's obvious I guess - writing this just for beginners! :)

    Instead of duplicating lines you could also use the blend tool between two line and select the amount of steps you want.

    2:49 suggestion for beginners like me: before drawing the rectangle activate the option "align to the grid" so that the rectangle will be perfect!

      @@tt_tutorials i have, i think its problem with my illustrator i cant even decrease stroke weight to .25 when the line is straight

    • @tt_tutorials
      @tt_tutorials  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Did you select ‘align to art board’? Also please make sure that you do absolutely everything step by step. Each action. That you don’t move anything manually. It must work, David. 🧐 Try to press ctrl + A to make sure that you’ve selected all layers...
