While there's a lot of infighting in the story, the Barriki still have a motif that runs through them all with the eyes, mandibles, and squid launchers that makes it possible for them to be seen as a team to face off against the Toa Mahri, which I think is very important, and it's a nice way to link the villains together without them being clones sets in different colors with just some weapon variation or a different mask like the Piraka. It makes sense for hordes like the Bohrok, Vahki, and Visorak, but for a collector or even just a kid back in the day, it would get tiresome just to build the same thing six times with out anything significantly different enough to make each build experience unique.
This was the first set my friends and I had where we saw the dreaded brittle socket joints... we glued the heck out of it, but I'll always remember being disillusioned by it
i think looking at community mocs would be a nice adition for your videos since it would be a great way to give the community tips of what they can do better
Man, these Bionicle MOC builders are truly something else.
Absolute masters.
damn i was NOT expecting to see jjba in one of these videos
Me neither but I'm all for it !
Those claw pieces would look amazing on a shredder! Hopefully someone has or will do that I’d love to see it

I was actually gonna request this guy since I got his parts from a grab bag. Some amazing inspiration in this one I hope!!

Ehlek was always one of my favourite Barraki, he looks so silly but so intimidating at the same time.
love the video ben might take a few of the build ideas for my next moc
the MOC at 4:30 is a reference to a particularly nasty enemy from the XCOM video games, the chryssalid.
I’d recommend doing Mantax next cuz he’s now the only Barraki who doesn’t have a video yet.

So many characters were sacrificed to keeep my Ehlek's limbs healthy lol :P My Bias for him was and still is obvious
I always thought that he is a mix between a pufferfish and some sort of crab. Never ever did I think he is an eel, why the spikes?
I got him and Pridak, sadly Ehlek has broken joints and cannot stand.
