Its a Puuuub!! It needs a pub setting. Pumps, bottles in thr back, hanging glasses, darts. More tables. I know they cant do anything alcoholic but its a PUB! Cant wait to change it.
@@jac6995 I feel like The Highlander in the Detective's Office is that tiny little bit closer, with the pool hall and the 'cookie' smuggling tunnel, but this one is really nice!
I've been totally spoiled by Funwhole's modulars, with all their design innovations and extra features, but this is definitely the prettiest Lego modular since the Parisian restaurant. Mine also has only plastic bags.
I rarely actively comment but I have to say that this has taken the top tier for me -- Assembly Square is still #1 and nearest to my heart for a few reasons but Tudor Corner has supplanted everything else easily now. The experience of it was wonderful, the various techniques, the scenes... So much goodness to me!
Wow this is very authentically English. There are so many buildings around that look like this. Really nice! I know lego preach from the peaks about their paper bags (despite the lack there of) but what does the end life impact of the actual lego bricks look like? I'm starting to fall out with collecting in general because I've realize that it's a lot of owning just "stuff" for the sake of it.
Thanks for the great review. I am really excited about this modular. I haven't bought one for several years now, but this one looks really good, and from listening to your video, it sounds like they have really done a fabulous job with regard to what the build experience will be. Looking forward to getting this sometime in the future.
For what it’s worth, the most recent Lego sets I’ve bought have come with the instructions and stickers in a paper bag instead of the thin cardboard sleeve. Other then that it’s been plastic and more plastic for the bags that the bricks come in.
I don't buy these buildings because I have nowhere to put them but I enjoy your reviews and this is definitely one I'd buy if I did have the space. Didn't know about the chimney/status thing so I've just learned something new 👍
Building this at the moment as my first “proper” modular to sit alongside the Ghostbusters Firehouse and Daily Bugle, it’s also inspired me to add road plates and build a little scene. Great review as always mate!
Great review! I’m glad you didn’t mention the hat in the Haberdasher logo. I was so annoyed hearing every LEGO reviewer echo that LEGO marketing buzz pointing to the hidden hat in the sign
I got paper bags for the first and only time with the ambulance in the current wave of city sets and I was feeling like Charlie getting the golden ticket
I believe the sets sold in Europe have the paper bags. At least mine had. Also someone on internet did mention that the weird trapdoor are there for the case that someone multiplies the second floor and thus change the hoover closet to stairwell easily.
Maybe as a nit-pick but I do wish the set had more of an overhang, for the sake of more space upstairs but also just the fact that its an iconic aspect of Tudor architecture is that town houses would often use overhangs to increase living space above streets. I think with how recessed the building is on one side, it would of been nice to get a bit more building towards the front, definitely giving it an even more unique profile. Of course that'd unfortunately drastically effect the price though.
For this autistic guy, this modular has everything I like: cats, beetles, coffee shop (I'm Costa Rican, here coffee is a culture), clocks, umbrellas, hats and even an unambiguous autistic person! Of course the building too is nice n_n I like how her apartment reflects how beetles and cats are her special interests n_n Of course, with LEGO you can always use your imagination and pretend a minifigure is autistic, it's not something you can see from someone face, but I didn't expect a direct reference in a set to an actual autistic folk. I don't have any modular because in my country they become way more expensive than Europe and USA, but probably this is the one I will try to acquire.
I've bought every modular since Fire Brigade, 2024 Museum was the first I passed on - too expensive and it just didn't excite me. This one has rekindled my interest in the series. Which means I have to go back and buy the Museum for completion I guess.
It looks amazing. Probably the best Lego Modular in several years. If I had a wish for Lego Modulars, it would be that they focus on one building and just expand on it. This has the haberdashery building attached and the Jazz club had the pizza parlor. If they would have just made the Jazz club and the English pub/cafe bigger with more usable space, I would be more excited for them. While I will probably end up getting this, I am being spoiled by the alternative brick brands. Last night, I purchased two sets equaling 3552 pieces for $190 combined and both of them have better accessibility than the Tudor house, although Lego does win out on the overall appearance of the set along with better mini figures.
Thanks for the review. Although I quite often also check other reviewers, I make sure to check out yours. I absolutely love the look of this modular. I likewise consider it one of the best, maybe the best, maybe second place. Usually when I get a modular I also have ideas about changing it because there are tiny things I don't like. This one, like the Diner before, I will keep exactly as is. Not even bringing it forward or backwards on the baseplate. It's going to be a long wait. Not just because I just bought two modulars, the hotel and the museum, but I expect it will be cheaper sometime in 2026 or even 27 (the Hotel and Museum were recently). But it's going to be a long wait.
I really like the look of it. I was worried it wouldn’t fit in with other modulars, bit I gotta agree with you, it looks better than expected. Thanks for the Review!
I was very excited by the reveal of this one, and my wife picked it up for us. Watched your review anyway because I enjoy your take and videos. Glad to hear it is that good. Haven't started on it yet.
19:25 It would have been cool if they had made a new molded lanyard part, similar to the medal piece, so you could put it onto different figures. I’m not sure if they would’ve been able to print the sunflowers onto a piece like that tho🌻
I did not know the faux chimney history. Does one need a sweep for a faux chimney? 😊. I still feel the flat is too underdeveloped. Thanks for another excellent review, Jang. I’ll start building my Tudor in the next few days.
Such a beautiful modular, and it really shows off how much Lego can pack in to a corner build at every level. My only slight disappointment is seeing how much free space the Clockmaker's workshop ends up getting, when the inn itself is only afforded three seats. I'd have liked to maybe see the second floor be a partial extension of the inn, and the workshop be only a portion of that area. I'll concede the logistics of accomplishing such a thing without making the whole thing one big staircase elude me, so this may well have been the only way, I suppose.
I think the Natural History Museum is better placed next to the Sanctum Sanctorum. Both have green as their primary color, compared to the Tudor, which has red and orange parts. Luckily, the Tudor can be a standalone set, and that could help us appreciate it even more.
Bought the museum and the jazz club but havent opened the boxes yet and when I do will prob modify extensively …. Very excited for the Tudor tho will assemble it right away!
The design is stunning, but the lack of innovation in their modular approach is becoming increasingly evident, especially after the latest video on your other channel.
This set is really a sight to behold. My one stupid little nitpick is that the haberdashery only has the one hat recolor. Especially with the other tailor shops we’ve gotten in modulars it just feels like a lil bit of a retread.
It's very good but its not a true Tudor building but rather a Tudorbeathan...the distinctive Tudor elements limited to small upper floor rather the entire height.
if the purpose of this set was to make me want this set so bad, it has succeeded! LOL! anyhow, as a big lego fan a collector, I do not yet have a single modular building. and might not be able to resist this one, though my budget is limited and brickling castle series set await.... BUT.... thanks for an epic review anyhow 🦓🐏🦄
I'm really sad about this one :( It's a great set and I really want it, but I promised myself to finish my space and knight projects before I start doing modulars 😆
I am sadly one of the people who are not really thrilled with this modular, although it is beautiful, but I cannot quite understand why… perhaps because I expect my buildings to be later, more elegant style like Police Station and Boutique Hotel? Or maybe because I am from the capital and Tudor Corner has a countryside vibe rather than a city center one? I can’t put my finger on it.
Jang roasting LEGO’s paper bag deception has become my new favorite running joke😅
@@crushedpecan6939 I was surprised when I finally got a set with all paper bags last week
I’ve avoided other reviews just waiting for Jang’s to drop!
This is an instant classic set. Absolutely beautiful.
The design teams are absolute geniuses! This is so clean. I love the way this is angled in places
I was like, “that’s a cool interior but not enough of these buildings have bathrooms.” Then there was a bathroom. Worth it.
Its a Puuuub!! It needs a pub setting. Pumps, bottles in thr back, hanging glasses, darts. More tables. I know they cant do anything alcoholic but its a PUB! Cant wait to change it.
Its the closest Lego can make a pub without making a pub
Change the little post lights on the bar into some taps, some extra bottles here and there would like great
Needs some little Guinness prints!

We kinda have it with detective office already
I've been totally spoiled by Funwhole's modulars, with all their design innovations and extra features, but this is definitely the prettiest Lego modular since the Parisian restaurant. Mine also has only plastic bags.
It feels like it has way more presence than a lot of other modulars, new or old

Jang, the wall between the Haberdashery and kitchen can be removed to access the kitchen better
Thank Jang. Your modular reviews are always first class.
This is the first Lego house I bought in my life. Can’t wait to start the build, I’m going to enjoy it ❤

Thanks for getting this out so soon. I've been patiently waiting. Thank you sir!

The mannequin totally gives me Doctor Who vibes,
especially with all the clock builds

Seems pretty obvious to me. But you're right about the Lego Advertising Network TH-camrs all parroting the same bullet points 😔
Im impressed, best modular vibes ive seen in a while
I got paper bags for the first and only time with the ambulance in the current wave of city sets and I was feeling like Charlie getting the golden ticket
That green baseplate stands out more than I thought it would. Bizarre choice.
Kinda, yea. I'm gonna put the two bookshop buildings on either side of this, since they're on grass and look great beside it.

I actually figured the 'fake' chimney was connected to the extractor hood in the kitchen, but I guess those fumes just disappear into the wall. XD
