  • Tour Scotland wee video of photographs of North Berwick. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. A Scottish seaside town and former royal burgh in East Lothian. It is located on the south shore of the Firth of Forth, approximately 25 miles east north east of Edinburgh. North Berwick Harbour was built in the 12th century, and for 500 years there was a ferry crossing to Earlsferry, near Elie in Fife. This was popular with pilgrims to St Andrews.

@@tourscotland Nice pictures. I was born in Edinburgh and moved to North Berwick when I was 4. Beautiful pictures and amazing to see how little has really changes except the cobbled high street which is now Macadam ... I watched them do it ! SAtood there all day and got my mother into a tantrum looking for me and then telling me I couldn't just stay with workers all day. It was the steam roller I was amazed with. Yip: They still used steam rollers in Scotland. Unfortunately my parents didn't have enough money to have a camera.
