Queen opens Lammermuir House Dunbar c1986.

Lammermuir House was a new reirement home for ex civil servants located near Dunbar Golf Course. This was probably the first royal visit since that of Victoria when she opened the new harbour that bears her name. The building has since been sold but is still a care home. For West Barns and Dunbar residents - Jimmy Wood was standing on my right as I shot this. Nuff said! Macolm Rifkin, the then Scottish Secretary, was one of the dignitaries.
