Lovely card as always! I love that water splatter on the oxide background. Brilliant!
Adding the embossing powder to your background is a new one to me. Will have to try it. Thank you. I do love gold glitter embossing powder, but it can be a problem with very detailed stamps.
Fast crafter? I have no idea what it's like to be that. I've been making cards forever and unless I'm batch making, nothing gets finished in a short period of time. It's always a couple of hours at least.
Same for me.😌
Same here. To make a card for one person it usually takes me 2-3 hours especially male cards. What a taxing on the creativity.
Here I was thinking it's only me - takes me 2 hours minimum to finish a card
Indeed. It seems like each one takes a long time while I make it perfect! Lol
Same. My cards take forever.
If you’re in that big of a hurry why bother?
Crafting just takes me away and I look up and hours have gone by in such peace and contentment.
…Your white flowers just make sad, ( but I will not even grow white flowers in my garden 🫣😂🤣😂🤣).
But…I DO so LOVE your background!…
So….
…To their own , for sure!👍 …
Plus I learned something, so thank you!☺️ for sharing this!!!🎉🎉🎉
Oh, Wow!!!
I have just started playing with my gel plate, what a great tool for inking and stenciling! I really liked your background and the addition of embossing powder. I have not thought to add a shadow under a die cut, but love that look, really adds dimension and texture to a die cut! Thanks!
Fiskars are great for fussy cutting!
Great tip about adding sparkle to the gel plate background. Thanks Lou!
Love this card. I like the way you put a shadow around the flower to give dimension. I will definitely try this. Thanks Lou. X
Love the black soot behind the flowers. I love the background, it would be perfect for a card I need to do this weekend. Thanks for the ideas.
I love your videos! I am so doing this!!
I love how you make those beautiful background with your gel plate to create this lovely card that looks like it has dimension but is flat. Thank you for the inspiration!

Beautiful Lou xx
Beautiful card. Can you please let me know what card you use when doing this technique. Thanks.x
Only copy/printer paper for the background x
Love a gel plate print👍🏻🙋🏼♀️
Me too! I could do them all day 😍
❤
Lovely card. What type of paper did you use on the gel print? I seem to use too thick or too thin for that water technique.
Only copy paper, nothing very thick at all x
The blue background is simply stunning. What a shame to cover it!!!
What’s the make and name of the gold embossing powder ? I’ve never seen one so sparkly before .
That was a Papermania one, I think it is called Tinsel Gold
Too much talking foe me I’m afraid
❤
