It's going to take a very complex multi sectioned mold to be able to pull a one piece shell shaped like that out of... Are they using a fiberglass sandwich mold for their bodies or will it be a more traditional female mold with glass laid up on the inside by hand?
I asked for the complete body so that I can finish the surface to be uniform as one piece when assembled but it will be cut into panels that will be used for the moulds.
honestly i like the look. toss a motor in it and drive that foam car around. also you got bragging rights being the lightest car on the block. no need for a mold this baby is an original :P

what is an approximation of cost to that stage please? 3D supplied by me, front engined, not complicated shape, think something in Corvette terms. Thanks..
It has some similarities but it is very different in terms of proportions and detail. I'll try to get a side by side when it's done just for comparison one day.
The front windshields have been made by a company called ProCurve Glass. They cost about $2k USD each plus shipping. The car is open source so you can download the windshield model and have any glass fabricator manufacture it as long as it has the DOT stamp. The rear may be lexan to start and I haven't sourced a manufacturer for the side windows yet.
I found it in the back of an alley way. asked the owner what it was and why hes throwing it out and he said it was a plotting gantry for engineering blue prints and that it was a very expensive paperweight. So I took it home.
Word a 2000 mm rail slide and 1000 mm height would that be a good scene Cnc machine to make cars I can't get the 5 access yet Sunny or find someone that can hook me up With a decent price I do have 10' of metal bars square bars but I cannot find rail slides perfect for it can you
