How To Fix Black FBX Models Uploaded to Sketchfab from Maya

How to fix blacked-out models in Sketchfab. Maya to Sketchfab Solution.
I am not sure why this happens, but when I export models from Maya as an FBX for the purpose of uploading to Sketchfab I often get this issue where parts of my models turn black. So here is my temporary solution to black models in Sketchfab.
Basically you have to export as an OBJ, delete all of the material data, and then bring the model back into your Model file, re-apply the materials, and re-export as an FBX. For some reason this works. There must be extra nodes on the models that do not carry over in the OBJ format.
Either way, this solution for black models from a Maya FBX to Sketchfab seems to work for now. I hope it helps!

if you turn off vertex coloring under the settings tab in the sketchfab 3D properties it should fix the problem

@@vanshtandon1829 I believe this is a memory issue on your browser/machine. Have you tried clearing your cache?
