Now I'm dying to hear why you switched to evernote lol. I need to migrate into a new note-taker to kill a couple other apps in my system, but I haven't decided yet. Notion is confusing and I hear that it isn't very secure.
In a nutshell, Notion wasn't encouraging me to actually take notes. I got so distracted with building the perfect system. With Evernote, I'm actually creating new notes regularly, and going back and highlighting my book notes from Readwise. It just has less distractions and I find myself using it way more. Also, the forward via email feature is amazing for productivity, haha. I'll be making an entire video about this later in the summer! I still use Notion for content management on TH-cam. But that's it for now.

Can you make a video on a system that one can follow to categorise books on kindle? I have thousands of books on my kindle voyage that need to be arranged in some manner like a folder structure on windows.
I feel like I'm missing something... Readwise says it costs $7.99 per month, not $1 per month. I've been a subscriber for some time and, while I admittedly don't pay a whole lot of attention to my myriad of subscription charges, I always assumed it was $8 a month. Frankly, $8 is too much for what this service does, but I pay for it anyways.
This second half of the video is like a Readwise ad. It's difficult for many people to use an international card here from India or even pay a dollar for subscription. Can you please suggest any free alternatives ( like Notion etc )?

I don't know of an alternatives right now that automate things the same way Readwise does. If you have Kindle, you can easily export your notes into a PDF, which works well. Readwise is a total game changer, it takes your kindle to the next level, I need to be more disciplined with reading my daily highlights though 😂
It really is! It took me a while to build the daily practice of reviewing, but once you start it's hard to stop!
