Welcome to Homestead, honey! In this video, I’ll out of pocket walk you through the process of propagating your own fiddle leaf fig trees. Whether you’re a season plant parent or just a beginner this is a pretty simple guide to follow.
Materials you need:
Sharp scissors or pruning shears
A healthy fiddly fig plant
Rooting hormone is optional, but I didn’t use any
Glass jar for water propagation
Small pot and well draining soil
Key tips:
Choose a healthy steam with at least 2 to 3 leaves
Use clean sharp tools to prevent infection
Keep your cuttings in a warm warm spot, but out of direct sunlight
Be patient can take a few weeks to a couple months
