I started a hyper-modded hard mode playthrough using this mod on monday, and it's definitely one of my new favorites for expanding the game. I have it combined with smart guars and tamable guars, so I can use them as a pack mount across Morrowind.
As someone who loves RPGs and have been on a big survival game marathon binge I would always loved more survival based mechanics put in RPGs. Imagine if they added another skill called "Survival" that improves all the crafting, camping, cooking for your needs. Been playing Morrowind for a while after hearing about this mod. I might try it out sometime. Skyrim does have a survival mod that seems to be somewhat built in through another mod. Morrowind is harder so the survival experience would be much more brutal but more exciting. Morrowind seems a bit bigger long as you don't use the striders and survival sounds right up with it. Another RPG that actually is survival was Outward. An indie RPG that is pretty impressive and even has different scenario death mechanics. Like getting killed by a bandit didn't kill you but they made you their prisoner and you have to escape and grab your stuff on the way out. If you get caught by rogue knights you become their slave.
I played very similar mod in Skyrim. It was really well made also, I combined it with no fast travel and real dark nights for extra immersive-ness. Great experience if you`re into that kind of stuff. And yes, camping is a great activity!
Really love this mod. Camping in Morrowind is just fantastic, and honestly, very quaint and relaxing. It's amazingly done and really adds another interesting layer to the game.
