- This summer marks eight years since we started the Okayama Denim Project fundraiser for the victims of the Tohoku Earthquake & Tsunami that rocked Northern Japan in March, 2011. This video tells the story of our journey over the years through an in-depth Q&A with our founder, Mehervan Sethi.

Personally, I think Japanese denim is better than American denim. The best denim in the world today is Japanese denim.
