Ekko and Heimerdinger went into the multiverse that the Hextech does not exist, while Jayce went into the multiverse where the Hextech's after effect. now i fully understand where Jace coming from, why he killed Viktor in the Ep.6.
this became my favorite episode. that jinx and ekko scene is one of the greatest happiness that this show provided me. Even after the finale i am still smiling. I didn't think it was possible but this series made me smile at the end.
The stop-motion dance, it might seem disturbing with how the rest of the animation is, but I'd like to think it's symbolic of how Ekko wants to savor every last frame of that moment with Powder. He's own "what could've been".
I didn't expect to burst into tears for Jayce's experience. Imagine getting sent to a horrible future - I mean, hello, the imagery!! Looked like he was all alone, surrounded by these horrible creatures who once were human, frozen in creepy positions. The surroundings, the streets etc destroyed and completely ruined, then falling into a deep dark pit with a broken leg, having to stay down there for god knows how long being forced to eat toxic stuff to stay alive. He must have felt terrified, so utterly alone and helpless, especially with a broken leg. Jesus, Jayce really got the worst end of the stick, like you guys said. What a horrible future to witness.
Jayce also possibly got sent to the exact same universe as Ekko & Heimerdinger, not just another alternative. That would align with Heimerdinger telling us he arrived 3 years earlier (so Jayce could be some years later) and Powder keeping the gemstones (that she can later experiment with)
My favorite episode of all. While everything's collapsing and getting heavy, the dancing scene make me feel like I can breath for a moment. It feels like you're stucked in the traffic for hours and you finally made it home. You stay in your car, take a 5 minute break before going back in the house. The guys behind Arcane are genius
First, the Powder and Echo scenes were just perfect. I literally cried when they danced. It's the life they both deserved. Secondly. Can we just appreciate just how much of a hard ass Jace is? Dude tanked falling off a cliff and shattering his leg. Then proceeded to climb the very same cliff face with a broken f'n leg!! Dude is next level tough as nails.
Jinx Had a lot of Hex-Crystals because in that version of the universe, Vi dies because of the initial Hex-Crystal explosion in Season 1. Powder never touches the crystals ever again after storing it as a memento of Vi. Powder then puts Ekko's gift inside the drawer as a memento too with the crystals signifying that the Ekko that gave her the necklace is dead(in that universe).
What's also sweet in retrospect is that Powder could've helped Ekko faster by just giving him those crystals, but decided to build the machine with the broken shards to spend more time with him
Jayce also didn't exist in that universe because after the explosion, he was banished because of that explosion as the season 1 showed during the trial. Victor assumed as dead also because they didn't develop the arcane.
Should have had it end with season 3 instead of season 2 because season 2 has moments of feeling rushed while episode 9 as whole feels that way. After watching all of Arcane season 1 was the better season
I just finished the last episode and all I’ll say is… excuse my language, WELL. F*CKING. DONE. FORTICHE AND RIOT. Hopefully they’ll make more to expand this amazing world they’ve built with love and care. Love your guys reactions! Have a great weekend!

Heimerdinger's song makes me so emotional, man. It sort of encapsulates all the hope and potential of that other universe and the pain of losing it at the same time.

I just wanted one thing ONE F*****G THING!!! to see powder happy, smiling, just a beautiful moment in joy at last a happy ending But look WHAT THEY DID WHAT THE HELL THEY DID😭.
Finishing act 3 I'm just a sobbing mess and have no words for how good Arcane as a whole is... it's hit me on so many emotions that I didn't even think possible since I usually do not cry or feel this bittersweet sadness
This is the ending Jinx and Ekko deserveed, to find peace and love with one another 😢❤ my hearts broken into a million pieces after this scene and the ending of the show 😭😭 atleast we got this satisfaction that in a different universe they got thier happy ending...after that heartbreaking series finale
This is also my theory when I finish ep 9 if they ever gonna make s3 Jinx better be there. For me the main character of arcane is Jinx freaking love her character.
I am so happy with how amazing this act 3 has been, i am just confused by some online reception saying pacing and motivations have been hard to follow when this episode and the start of 8 explains why everyone is doing everything.
The pacing criticism is valid, we only truly had that issue with the final episode but perhaps it’s due to the overall pace of act 3. That being said they wrapped everything quite nicely and we thought this season was still a banger overall.
Fair, I just noticed I was vague, and meant that Act 3 pacing felt fine especially episode 7/8. Act 1 and 2 were jarring at first as everything technically made sense, and they gave subetly hints at motivational changes and time gaps, but it didn't give you enough time to sink it in until a rewatch. Episode 9 didn't feel too rushed for me either. Unsure why. Everything kind of just fit into a place writing wise for me. @OfficialMediaKnights
This is my favorite episode from Act 3. I'm sad to say I was unhappy where it went from here. Aside from that: Girlfriend-Material Jinx, and Bluegrass Heimerdinger made this episode iconic. edit: I just didnt like the ending, it was a bit lackluster, it wrapped up to fast. But I still loved everything that built up to it. I love this series.
I didn't see this mentioned, but I think when Ekko, Heimerdinger, and Powder sit down at a table before they start working on the Z-Drive is when they reveal to Powder what's happening in their original timeline. That's why it cuts back to the Vi doll and Powder is now sad when they light the incense a 2nd time. It also explains the awkwardness when they go to kiss later.
This episode (Plus Paint the Town Blue) was by far my favourites of this season! It's a shame that the only care and chemistry Ekko receives is in an alternate universe, however. I wish he got closure at the end of the finale, other than his pain.
Heimerdinger is a Yordle and as such can't die; his essence went back to Bandle city (Yordle's home) where time goes by a lot faster so after some Runeterra-years he may return to Piltover if he wants to
Omg THANK YOU for not not being hardcore Victor stans. Seen a few reactions by now and some of them are insufferable with their Jayce hate even though he´s CLEARLY right in defending his universe from Viktor.
Y’all thinking her having the hex tech is sinister, but to me it’s beautiful. In that timeline Powder never used it to kill her family, instead it’s a symbol of her sisters passing. It’s a way to remember Vi.
It's only sinister because, like so much of the tech involved in the weapons we have in our actual world, it's capable of so much destruction. Something like that is impossible to use for good without someone, somewhere, taking it to use it for evil. AU Powder knows that, and that's why she keeps it hidden away.
This is my favorite episode of the season, its so beautiful 😍🥺😭 I'm so happy to know that at least in one universe Ekko and Powder (Jinx) are happy together 😍⏳💣💚💙
correct me if I'm wrong but it seems like the kid in the wheelchair at 11:43 applauding heimerdinger is the one who almost got killed by Jayce and led him to viktor in episode 6
I swear to god, this show plays with my emotions so much it’s bordering on emotional abuse. I absolutely get where Ekko is coming from, as much as I would’ve loved to stay behind in this perfect world, I would never rest or know true peace if I left behind everyone else behind knowing I could truly help save them.
An episode I wished for yet completely unexpected! I only wanted everything to stay the way it was the way Ekko saw it. I had way too many chills, way too many tears during this episode. Everytime 'this' Jinx'(Powder) was on screen it gave me indescribable chills!
To answer your question about her with the hex gemstones at the end, my theory on that would be that she kept them as a keepsake to remember Vi by. She had them in her hand during the flashback. Since Vi died, the enforcers never had to find someone to blame in the underground, so the sheriff lady never died, and that means Silko never came to Marcus making a deal, etc etc. to the point where Powder never had to make the monkey bomb and therefor never realized they were the things that exploded in Jayces' apartment, like she did when she was left behind and had her temper tantrum. So, she just saw them as gem stones and also the last thing she was doing with Vi so she kept them as a way to remember her. Now why she, of all people, doesn't recognize the shards as being made of the same stuff as the bag of gemstones she has in Vi's little cigar box of memories, I'm still confused about. It also makes you think. What if Powder wasn't the jinx? what if Vi was? The whole world turned out better, because she died. She even says later "I pick wrong every time, and it's gotten everyone I ever loved killed." The show's implying Vi was the problem, which sort of mirrors the other part of the story where Viktor seems like the savior and Jayce seems like the bad guy, when in reality it was reversed.
The song that we hear and performed by the Belgian singer Stromae in duet with the French singer Pomme performing the song "Ma meilleure énnemie" (My best enemy) ❤
In case no one’s said it yet, the bag of extra hextech gems/shards in Powder’s drawer at the end of the episode is easy to explain. It’s the same bag of extras that she kept from the original first job, but since things went so badly they ended up losing Vi in this timeline, it traumatized Powder and put her off ever tinkering with or wanting to use those gems/shards ever again. So that bag has just been sitting in that drawer ever since, I would imagine.

the beautifull thing about this episode is the amount of details the animation and story gives. the scene where powder and ekko dancing is in 4frame persecond where ekko's ULTIMATE skill in the league of legends game is 4seconds time back duration. gottta give the animation a big thumbs up for that
Thank you! You guys are some of the few reactors who understand Ekko’s love for Powder/Jinx was merely rekindled, he loves that woman and saving her was always the only way!
This was the best episode of s2 for me I feel salty we didn't get a full arc with Ekko as the main lead. There was a very compelling story to be told here with Ekko. He could have been the one to invent Hextech in that universe and then be stuck with the choice of staying there happy with the people he has lost or going back to save the people he left behind. I really enjoyed s2 I still think it's really good like 7-8/10 good but there were a lot of rushed storylines. All the puzzle pieces don't quite fit together as well as s1 did it felt undercooked it just needed more time in the oven. I hope they really lock in and make it proper if they continue with other regions.
Hey guys, just so you know, the french song when Ekko and Powder dance is the big and unexpected return of a mega Belgian singer known as Stromae. The lyrics fit so well that scene, it says basically "you are my best enemy"!
The reason this episode killed me the most, out of the entire season, is that it highlights in every sense how tragic everyone's lives are in the show's home timeline. There isn't a single person in the home timeline who is genuinely happy.
One of my favorite details I noticed and loved in this episode was Powder's fingernail only painted in only one color, it didn't have blue that represents her crazy side ❤
Damn, y'all are fast! Just wrapped up Act III, but also excited to see y'all's reactions as always! I'll say this knowing I'm heavily biased because I love this show, but man Act III was a wild ride! I honestly can't believe it's over now, but Arcane was so damn good!
We thought it was amazing! Does it have some flaws, yes and very minimal ones at that considering how much they nailed it in the animation/narrative department.
A cool detail I didn't ser anyone talking about is the fact that powder had more hextech gem fragments, but didn't use them because she realized ekko was not from that timeline and wanted to spend more time with him. At least, this is how I interpreted the scene where she puts the pendant in the drawer.
Ekko was in a universe where Hextech didn't got introduced to the underground, therefore nothing after episode 1 happened... Jayce ended in a universe where Hextech got used and totally took over the world.... In this two visions, we can understand why Jayce did what he did to Vitkor in S2 E6, he knew what the world would become...
This episode is so big brain cause it also explains at the same time that within runeterra there are also different universes and timelines so this show and all the skin lines in the game exist but aren’t cannon to the actual game’s story
My take away from the scene where Powder puts the pendant away and we see a bag full of Hex crystals is that she knows how destructive they can be so she keeps them all hidden away so that NOBODY can use them, because regardless of how much good they can do she knows they can do unimaginable bad as well. She's not touching them, even if they might be able to bring Vi back.
I think the end shot of Powder having the hextech in storage is indicative of the choice that allowed this universe to flourish. Don't think we need to worry about her using it! ^_^
At the very end, I believe the hex crystals is for Powder remembering Vi and the other piece is what Ekko gave her so that's her way of remembering that version of Ekko now that he is gone.
Powder from the alternate universe is just keeping the hex cores as a reminder of vi she’s not planning on using them. Also it means the reason hextech never became a reality in this dimension is because of her, since she’s been holding onto the crystals.

Those 4 frames per second in the dance is probably how Ekko saw it in his mind, wanting to be able to rewind that moment and stay there forever.
After watching act 3, time to begin my reaction journey
the beautifull thing about this episode is the amount of details the animation and story gives. the scene where powder and ekko dancing is in 4frame persecond where ekko's ULTIMATE skill in the league of legends game is 4seconds time back duration. gottta give the animation a big thumbs up for that
Remember how Heimerdinger's ultimate boosts abilities in the LoL? He did that with Ekko's Z-Drive here. Love such details
easily the best episode of s2. Showing us what could have been... and what is not meant to be.
Thank you! You guys are some of the few reactors who understand Ekko’s love for Powder/Jinx was merely rekindled, he loves that woman and saving her was always the only way!
After finishing the show I can confidently say this episode is my favourite of the whole series
This episode was simply fantastic. We got to see what could be and Ekko got that spark of hope he needed.
Im so glad i found Your Channel You Always make me feel so comfortable watching it with you second time:)
Hemeir and Ekko enjoying their time.
Jayce: *running for his life
Your reactions are the best, actually the best. Keep it up, please!
Guys I don’t know if you see this but you are amazing. You are the best reactors and I love experiencing things for a second time with you!!🤗
Ekko and Heimerdinger: *A whole happy go lucky life.*
Jayce: *Dark Souls intensifies.*
Glad y'all posted this so quickly lmao
rewatching makes me cry even more! even when i thought i have no tears left 😭😭😭😭😭
Act 3 also broke me just like Act 2 did
Act 3 has us destroyed
We’re still in denial it’s done 😭
@@OfficialMediaKnights I'm really looking forward to seeing y'all's reactions to Episode 8 and 9!
Shame but predictable that this act has so many fans mixed but thank you guys for sharing your reactions❤
I knew Jayce was in the right LOLLL
Ekko was in a universe where Hextech didn't got introduced to the underground, therefore nothing after episode 1 happened... Jayce ended in a universe where Hextech got used and totally took over the world.... In this two visions, we can understand why Jayce did what he did to Vitkor in S2 E6, he knew what the world would become...
Act 3 is one of the Best things I've seen in my life. The Power level Rose to Anime God level. Just insane
This episode is so big brain cause it also explains at the same time that within runeterra there are also different universes and timelines so this show and all the skin lines in the game exist but aren’t cannon to the actual game’s story
Pretty sure that forgiveness line is foreshadowing... somebody else!
Just finished the rest of act 3, my heart it broken💔💔💔
Your not ready for this next one 😅 enjoy can’t wait to watch your reactions😊
i was SOOO glad to know my guess about jayce wasn't unfounded after last episode
Uploading 5:00 in the morning is crazy! I love it.
Present first in here with you guys I'm excited 😊😊😁
We hope that you enjoy! ❤️😃
the blue part of the Pendant has Eccho face while the white has Powder, facing away from each other... Love that cannot be.
Episode 6: Jayce, what the hell did you do?!
Episode 7: You did what you had to do.
This episode hurts me so bad. The way they show what could have been 😢😢
The dancing is done in 4fps….just like his limit. I think I can watch this show a million times and still catch details
Im in a dying need of the song at the start of episode 7, riot can’t get away with blessing my ears
th-cam.com/video/CY7L_t2HIZI/w-d-xo.html dont worry i have your back
OMG IAM SO EXITEDDDDD
I think the end shot of Powder having the hextech in storage is indicative of the choice that allowed this universe to flourish. Don't think we need to worry about her using it! ^_^
At the very end, I believe the hex crystals is for Powder remembering Vi and the other piece is what Ekko gave her so that's her way of remembering that version of Ekko now that he is gone.
Powder from the alternate universe is just keeping the hex cores as a reminder of vi she’s not planning on using them. Also it means the reason hextech never became a reality in this dimension is because of her, since she’s been holding onto the crystals.
I think a big part is Heimerdinger also fixing his mistakes, before he looked the other way to the problems in the undercity and let it sink.
Loved his arc as well! Such a shame he had to go…
At least Ekko left his mark in this other world by painting Vi from his world.
That universes powder kept all the hextec so that it will never be used . Thats why that universe is happy
Love that Ekko fused with a alternate universe Ekko to experience a good (ish) timeline
hell yeah, we are back baby
We are so back! Act 3 is here baby! 🔥❤️
