The original Him 450 suspension is magic. And I have something to compare it to, because I had a BMW 1200 GS and other types of motorcycles, like Kawasaki KLR, Buell, HD,. Now I have a Benelli Leonchino 800 Trail, a new BMW R 1250 RT, but the Him 450's original chassis works wonders on the ofroad with my 105kg.✌✌✌✌.

Yes they are magic, yes it can always be better.
If you ride mainly on the road there isn't anything I would do on the suspension as well (if the girlfriend would fit the bike ofcourse) but when riding offroad you easily can reach the limit of this suspension. Again. We had to change it to the height of the rider and therefor it was an easy choice just the change everything and do it good in one go.

Was the original rear shock from showa like the front fork or just a generic in house one

I bought it brand new so yes the front and back were from Showa original. I am keeping the shock in my hand at the end of the video and weighted it on the scale for you. 🤙🏻

Looks very nice!!.What about the forks? Are they adjustable? Or only lower? Pease show them on the next video. Best regards. S.

      Hello,
The Front is only adjusted according to the weight of the rider. There are no cartridges available for this yet. Else I would have to change the whole front forks for something else. and then it would cost me like 2500 extra 😆

Hi Guys, wonderful idea well done, I need this to, visited showroom 2 days ago near me and I had the same problem as your partner, we must have came out of the same short mould. The bike is a bit top heavy with a full tank of gas for my height. Do you need a engineering certificate for the completed work?

That is the same issue we had indeed, didn't feel nice when getting it of its standard. So it had to be lowered a little bit. In the Netherlands there is no certificate needed or something like that to change the suspension. But if required they will provide something similar like that as I got lots of stuff with it.
You can go to their website and send them a request, they ship world wide and have the suspension available for your bike if you wish.

If you want to buy the exact same setup you'll end up with the following suspension.
TFX Progressive for the Front - €164,-
TFX Freelexer for the back - €1139,-
