Faith is in so much more of Buffy than she is Angel but I almost consider her an Angel character because that’s when she did her most growth and was best as a character for me.
Wow not being able to decide whether Wesley is S or A made me nervous! LOL he's probably my favorite character (with the best development) on television. After everything, he deserves S status
Spike is coming to my comic con. I have to go and get my sister something signed and also take a pic with him. So excited! Buffy was a great show. Love spike as well!

Watching Buffy when it first aired, I really didn't like Spike. Now I'm older and having watched all your Buffy reactions, my mind has been changed. I like Spike now and cannot imagine the Buffy verse without him. Again, really great reasoning for your rankings.
Interesting! For me, there are two characters that I would put even higher than S. Spike and Faith. I can't imagine watching the Buffyverse without those two. I still dream of a Faith spinoff with Spike in it. Eliza and James had fantastic chemistry.
It's so weird how some wiki-editing portion of the fandom just kind of decided that the First Slayer is named Sineya. As far as I'm aware, that's just a misinterpreted line. She literally says she has no name, so it can't be Sineya. Unless that's like, a word for "slayer" in some lost language or something.
At the point of commenting, the most shocking part of this tier list is how many characters the Anointed One managed to outrank.
Omg when you asked if Faith should go to “A” I just exclaimed, “NO”… lol. Oz would definitely be in A for me. I can’t even believe what Anya did in S7 it takes me right out of the show and I just fully blame the writers. So sad for her character.
I think Wes and lillahs relationship is way more interesting then his and Fred's.
Wouldn't argue with most of this except Anya is an S for me.
anya is the one character who gets progressively more annoying for me each time i rewatch the series. it's weird because when i first watched the show, i adored her. but for some reason as i get older and do more rewatches....all of her little quirks become more and more annoying. her bluntness and awkwardness (which i once found charming) are grating now.
She's the opposite for me! One of my favourite comic relief characters, and as a form of allegorical neurodivergent representation (which many people in the fandom have in their head canon), she's very successful at times.
Why is where they rank based on how much time they had in the series? 😕
Because that's Liam's experience with the shows. You can always make your own! :)
@@salyx I have. I was just curious as to why it mattered how long they were on. I wasn't criticizing that he did it that way.
he's clearly basing his rankings on more than just that though lol. but yes that plays a role for him...as it should.

I think what I'm getting from this tier list is that Season 7 firmly belongs in the E/F tier 😶

The worst part about losing Tara is she was supposed to come back but the actress wasn't available for filming. Ah what could have been. She was my absolute favorite. So pure and supportive of the whole group and like a surrogate mom for Dawn when Buffy died.
What do you mean come back? I only heard that she was going to appear as the first but the actress actually didn't want that because it would taint the character to appear that evil. Which honestly is a good thing imo.
@@mizzdiiva92 there was an episode planned in which Buffy would get a wish and use it to bring back Tara but it had to be scrapped because Amber Benson was filming something else. I'm also very glad she didn't come back as the first. The character was too pure to be tainted that way
@@kbwolfe9491 Ooh thats interesting, but they really planned on another wish episode? I feel like that would be kind of repetitive. The only way I see tara maybe come back is if she comes back as a ghost or something to help willow move on.
Good choices, but it may be unpopular opinion but now way is Tara a better character than Anya, would put Tara in C and Anya in A. There should be a special category for Buffy's father, probably the most pointless character in the whole show.
