I was worried they’d just overlook those traits and just assume they were crazy, but they did their research really well. My only wish is that they had used Electro’s theme more cuz it’s epic
This movie is totally rushed to it's release date, the story is compressed and the first 30 minutes of the film feels unnecessary. The good part of this movie is only the action scenes
Not going to lie, they definitely did rush the movie. Lizard acted completely different from his actual character. And I just find the Doc Ock "arc" in NWH pretty much the less interesting one from Spider-Man 2, because Ock says that he was pulled in when he had Spider-Man by his throat, which is if you recall moments before Doc Ock turns friendly. So it was really just redundant because when he returned back to his universe, the fusion reactor would still go off, and he would still die. Not only that, 2 of the villains in the movie don't even die in their respective universes, so there's really no point to "saving" them. Sandman just randomly went rogue and even attacked his own Peter.
Wow that was a very visible example of the stages of grief when you found out that everyone will forget peter. At first denial, then you came up with possible solutions (bargain) and all the way through depression and finally acceptance.
Honestly I know people thought Andrew, Dafoe, Molina and everyone else did amazingly but I’m surprised there aren’t more people talking about Tobey because while he didn’t have all that many lines or moments for what he was given I think he made the most of his time on screen
I personally think Toby did way better in this movie than in his stand alone ones. Dont get me wrong. The original ones are CLASSICS! But, Its like he got far more freedom to let the personality of his version schine through. Like, as if he was held back in his movies.
I love the ending. Peter finally becomes a man, let’s go of his friends to keep them safe even if it sucks for him, these are the consequences for breaking the spell. He finally accepts responsibility. Can’t wait for the new trilogy in the next few years. Great reaction man!
The moment you realize a reactor hasn't seen "Daredevil"... my friend you have free content in the pipeline :) Andrew saving MJ is basically as good a moment as there has ever been in a superhero movie. I actually now want to see Andrew Garfield and Zendaya in a movie together now.
While Peter was outside his body during the beginning of the the fight with Dr. Strange, his body could still move to avoid Strange because his spider sense acts as an automatic reflex
18:15 Notice how Peter's spidey sense is working for him, even after getting his astral form pushed out of his physical form. The squiggly lines is there around his head. Nice detail and reference to the comics and also Into the Spiderverse since Tobey and Andrew's films didn't have the added visual effects like here but the subtle tingling sound effect instead everytime the spidey sense kicked in.
I also like that Andrew’s arc shows that MCU Peter can still be Spider-Man without letting his rage consume him and Raimi’s Peter shows MCU Peter then he still can have a life while being Spider-Man as he says he and MJ made it work
Also, in the final scene of Peter swinging in the snow, you can see the Christmas tree and the ice rink from the Hawkeye finale in the background. The tree isn't broken yet, which means this happens before Hawkeye. Likewise, in an early episode of Hawkeye, you can hear a news report in the background mentioning something happening to the Statue of Liberty (I think they either said repairs or renovations) but either way, Marvel put in an easter egg to Spiderman No Way Home before the movie even came out which I think is really cool
So I think No Way Home takes place around Christmas 2024 and Hawkeye takes place Christmas 2025, so there’s no crossover in the timeline there. But it still makes you wonder where Spider-Man is during all the stuff that goes down in Hawkeye
@@matthayes8500 actually Hawkeye's director corrected himself last year and said it was set in December 2024 so technically the post credit scene and the Hawkeye show have some connective tissue.

Apparently it's been confirmed Marvel is making a season 4 of Daredevil now. But it'll be more aligned with the MCU and will be years after season 3. No confirmation if this Matt Murdock will be a variant and if the first three seasons are canon. But we have Daredevil now.
@@DeadlyBeast205 Not really. I was there at the midnight premiere of this in cinemas, and I had no clue if they really were/really weren't. Sure, there were rumors, there were even some leaks here and there, but most of that was played off as photoshopped or even as marketing ploy/trolling by Sony, so really NOBODY had any real idea. It was all unconfirmed speculation at that point. They weren't in any teaser/trailer either. I live in Australia, and our time is ahead of USA by more than half a day, so my Midnight Premiere was more than 12 hours ahead of USA. Trust me, NOBODY had any idea at that point. I'll guess that you saw this film a few days after and had read all the confirmed rumors on social media AFTER this film premiered... Most of the confirmed rumors came from Australia at that point. You're welcome. LOL
Did you notice the change from „with great power comes great responsibility“ to „with great power there must also come responsibility? It’s a minor change but the mcu version is the original from the comics
@@ItsAPrimatee Also in the original comic, Uncle Ben didn't say the great responsibility line. It was said by the narrator in the first issue. I'm pretty sure the 90's cartoon was the first time any version of Uncle Ben said the line. And the Raimi movies are heavily based on that cartoon, it is probably the single most influential adaptation of Spider-Man.
As a hardcore fan of the character I love Tobey, Andrew and Tom, but Tom Holland is so good as both Peter and Spider-man. I mean, even Stan Lee himself said it that Tom Holland is the best Spider-Man. Tom Holland kill it with his performance in this movie and I can’t wait to continue his Spider-man amazing character development. Tom Holland Spider-man has lost so much in so little time, it’s crazy. Tobey got bit at the age of 17. For 17 years, he lived a normal, happy childhood with both Aunt May and Uncle Ben, with no powers or supervillains to deal with. By the age of 18, Uncle Ben has died, but he got to properly graduate from high school with his childhood best friend and move into the city with him. Andrew got bit at the age of 17. He lost both of his parents at a young age and still carries that pain and yearning with him, but for 17 years, he lived a rather normal childhood with both Aunt May and Uncle Ben, with no powers or supervillains to deal with. By the age of 18, Uncle Ben has died, he becomes Spider-Man, graduates properly with his peers and his high school sweetheart, and lives in his childhood home with Aunt May. Tom got bit at the age of 14. After living up until freshman year with a relatively normal childhood, he is thrust into the superpowered world, and fights alongside the Avengers after only six months of being a superhero. While in high school, he loses out on hanging out with his friends, attending activities he enjoys, and teenage memories he will never recover, all in the name of heroic responsibility. Eight months into his powers at the age of 15, he defeats his first supervillain, is almost murdered, and loses out on ever going to his high school homecoming dance. At the age of 16, he witnesses an alien invasion (for the second time in his life) and goes into a one-way trip into outer space where he dies on an alien planet. While the Blip was instantaneous for most people, for Peter, he understood that he was dying for a whole minute and died in the arms of his mentor. An hour later, he is revived, but he watches his mentor and idol die in front of him and attends his funeral. At the age of 17, he is lied to and gaslit by a second supervillain, is almost murdered again, and has his identity revealed to the public and is framed as a murderer, destroying his personal life. Later that same week, he discovers the multiverse is real, Aunt May dies, leaving him with no family, the world's memory of him is erased, leaving him no friends or support network of any kind, misses out on properly graduating high school, and lives alone in the city. Being Spider-Man is all he has left. And after all of that, only then is he the same age as Peter 2 and Peter 3. And that breaks my heart. I can’t wait to see were they take the character next, especially with that offspring of Venom. I hope Scorpion is the one that gets it.
@@rob_loxxO_o Mac Gargan has gotten the symbiote before in the comics. If you’ve ever seen that Venom with red pupils in the eyes, that was Gargan. In some stories he even takes the form of Venom with a scorpion tail, lol.
@@rob_loxxO_o Yes! And like the other guy said Scorpion had it before. Gargan debuted as Venom while a member of Norman Osborn's Sinister Twelve, and remained in the Goblin's employ as a member of Thunderbolts and the Dark Avengers. I don’t know what are their plans for Venom (Of course) but knowing that the MCU is using new character and villains for this Spider-Man I do not expect another variant of Eddie and do the same plot of SM3 (Even tho it wasn’t good written), so I expect a new character to get the symbiote and Scorpion would be perfect. They already set him up in Homecoming and haven’t use him and because he had the Symbiote in the comics I think he could be a good character to have it. Anything except Flash! I know they didn’t wanted to do the same type of bully because it’s been done twice and they wanted something original, but this cyber bully of Flash is not good and the actor ain’t good, so anything except him. I even take Lee Price over Flash…
I love that they point out in this that Spider-Man is always pulling his punches. There's a Spider-Man story where Doc Ock is able to take over Peter's body and he accidentally punches the villain Scorpion's jaw straight off because he doesn't realise just how strong Peter is.
If you notice at the end, MJ is wearing the necklace he gave her in Far From Home. Hopefully, that triggers a memory down the road since that was the symbol of their broken world

It still amazes me that in a movie with such emotional highs with such nostalgic characters has it's greatest emotional moment still be about Toms Peter. Such a great movie
What's even better is that this was Tobey and Andrew's request before they signed to come back. To not overshadow Tom and whatever they did would be in service of Tom's story first.
@@JiReyAnimation Yeah this movie was really fan service being done the right way. Although I don't really think that this spideys storyline can really move anywhere interesting after the finale. So I hope they leave it at this great ending

Alr, so primate, the blind lawyer you saw is Matt Murdock, or Daredevil. He has his own show and it's SO GOOD. but quick rundown, he doesn't have any superpowers, just very heightened senses. He can hear a heartbeat across a room and is an excellent fighter, but most importantly, he's a really good lawyer.
12:30 Fun fact but, if you remember back in Spiderman 2, Otto actually explains originally that the arms were made of prototype nanotech. And it wasn't until Infinity War that we see Tony perfecting a iron man suit with that tech and also making Peter's suit of nanotech as well. Because of how advanced Tony made the suit, Peter was able to commandeer Doc Ock's arms as a result. In a sense, Tony really did make a suit built to save and protect Peter numerous times even after he was gone.
the chemistry between the three is just wonderful and the movie was amazing and they're basically like, the Avengers of the spider-verse now. They got to get these three back together again!

one of the most exciting Spiderman movies ever, I love how all 3 Spidermen had such a bonding and heart warming moment. I believe that those Villains were saved in a way that they no longer died when they initially did, that also means Harry is alive as he has no reason to go after Spiderman if he still has his dad around.
Childish Gambino was actually already set up to be Miles' uncle Aaron WAAAY back in the first Spider-Man movie. Peter tries to interrogate him about the illegal weapons he was buying from the Vulture.
It's funny, at 18:15 around Peter's head.. you can actually see his Spidey Sense working with those little heat lines.. like you see in the comics. Super cool!
this movie is setting spider man to how it should be. all of them go through this. its just all a cycle that makes spider man who he is in the marvel comics.
The lawyer is Matt Murdock AKA "Daredevil", he had a series that was from Netflix but Disney+ appropriated the series. For many, it is the best TV or movie product, not only from Marvel, but from superheroes in general.
@@xXEl_Mata_Furros_Xx sorry, but no. It’s not a part of the MCU. Although I wish it was, and the shows has direct mentions of events from the MCU, it is not a part of it sadly. Confirmed by Feige. Even the Hawkeye series confirms this with how Kingpin was portrayed.
"So who the fuck is this guy?" "I'm a really good lawyer" The guy is Matt Murdock, AKA Daredevil, blind lawyer by day, vigilante by night, and in the comics, he and Peter are both mortal enemies of The Kingpin.
For the longest time, Star Wars Episode 3 was my favorite movie of all time, but when this came out, instantly dethroned. One of the best movie experiences I've ever had. Seeing both Tobey and Andrew who I grew up with their Spider-Man movies altogether. It all comes together with Tom's Peter, he was the young, relying on technology and others, but after events like Endgame and FFH. And now this movie, he is finally the "Man" in Spider-Man, no advanced tech, and close teammates. There are so many possibilities, but of course, we know one of them and I look forward to MCU's Venom
If Revenge of the Sith was your favorite movie, you’re absolutely gonna lose your mind when Kenobi comes out. I know some spoilers but I won’t say any of them. All I will tell you is that it will be amazing.
lol, I'm 29 and basically cried like a baby from the point where May dies until the three Peters decide to save the villains. People are complaining about some of the composite shots right now but like, who gives a fuck lol. This movie is great and obviously not just due to nostalgia going by your reaction
A little touch I like about the coffee shop scene, MJ still had her necklace Peter gave her in Far From Home, so I think she has a small thought of Peter in her mind, that makes her keep it!
The thing is, Doc Ock would probably still die. He got taken out of the moment seconds before his redemption in Spider-man 2. So he goes back having been redeemed, seconds before he would've been redeemed anyway, and then it all still plays out the same way, with him sacrificing himself to drown his machine in the river. So for him, at least, nothing changes
Maybe the extra few minuites of clarity and the arc reactor might help him. Even if he still dies he leaves behind a I infinite power source. His dream would be accomplished.
Tobey and Andrew looked after Tom like a little brother. They didn't let him make the mistakes they made. Tobey made him realize that revenge wasn't the most important thing. Since he knew that revenge had in no way relieved him, he was burdened with an even greater burden. Andrew did not let Tom lose his beloved girl because he knew how it hurt. This is wonderful ❤️
60 years of Spider-Man in all forms of media (Comics, Animated Series, Movies and Video Games). Stan Lee and Steve Ditko would both be proud of their creation.
At 33:20, some of the figures you see is Kraven the Hunter, Scorpion, and another version of Mysterio. Crazy how one spell almost brought thousands of villains to one spot.
Doc ock was initially my favourite, I couldn't take goblin seriously in the originals but Willem Dafoe just knocked it out of the park here it has to be said.
@@friedrice7876 He's goofy in the mirror scene ? He's goofy when he mercilessly beats the shit out of Tobey at the end ? He's goofy when he goes " THE HEART OSBORN ! FIRST, WE ATTACK HIS HEART ! " and goes for Aunt May ?

Peter's lawyer is Matt Murdock, otherwise known as the Marvel superhero DAREDEVIL. Here, he's played by Charlie Cox, who played Matt/Daredevil for three seasons on the Netflix series. Netflix canceled the show in retaliation for Disney creating their own Disney+ streaming service. When Charlie Cox's Matt appeared in this movie, fans of the show freaked out because the show felt like it only had loose ties to the MCU, but seeing him in Spider-Man: No Way Home meant that Daredevil was being properly introduced to the MCU. It was also really cool seeing Peter and Matt together because even though Spider-Man and Daredevil have teamed up numerous times in the comics, they had never met in any live-action movie or show. Just last week, all three seasons of Daredevil were added to Disney+, and they've confirmed that a new season will go into production later this year with Charlie Cox returning.
Donald Glover did actually audition to be Spider-Man at one point. In fact, his audition led to the creation of Miles Morales. He’s in Homecoming, and he mentions Miles in a deleted scene so Miles could potentially exist in the main MCU universe.
In the actual movie he straight up says, "I got a nephew that live here" Miles has been in the mcu the whole time they're just waiting to bust him out lol (He was Aaron Davis)
I can say I honestly cried a few times in theaters, Spider-Man has always been in my Top 5 heroes (Marvel and DC inclusive). This one was just so well done and I have to commend how Marvel and Sony did this trilogy. All the Spider-Man’s got a film for their origin story and they stuck to their guns in not giving this Peter a straight up origin film - his whole trilogy serves as his origin story. I can’t wait for the next few Marvel films and having it confirmed that we’re getting another trilogy of this Peter gives me hope for so many other villains and story arcs. Miles Brown was at the premiere and he’s been campaigning hard to be Miles Morales, he’s closest in age, like Tom Holland has a dance background, his parentage is similar - he could bring so much to the role but we won’t know until we know and if they even decide to bring Miles into live action any time soon. I’m just so hype and props to the visual team because everything looked amazing, the mirror dimension and Strange’s magic …especially with the streaming/dvd/blu ray releases - even the sets, the building Happy lived in does not exist (I live down the street from Center/Gantry waterfront) but it looks exactly like the strip but with a new building perfectly in place - honestly it’s only about 20 minutes from the set placement of Peter and May’s old apartment. Love as a local some people would know that but they film these movies all over, especially in Atlanta so again the visual team integrating the sets so seamlessly is A+.
I really love all the actors in this movie, but the 3 that are the best in my opinion are defenetly Tom Holland, William Dafoe and the aunt May actress (her’s and Tom’s acting during her death scene is so emotional, Tom in the entire movie has perfect acting and Dafoe, I mean he as a Green Goblin is so perfect, defenetly one of the best MCU villains after this).
Matthew Murdock (Really good lawyer) is Daredevil who teams up with Spider-man multiple times in the comics. Murdock not only went blind at a young age but also lost his parents. He has 3 seasons on Disney+ also featured in The Defenders

Dont get me wrong. The original ones are CLASSICS! But, Its like he got far more freedom to let the personality of his version schine through. Like, as if he was held back in his movies.
@@leonielovemusic I don’t think he was being held back I think it’s just Raimi’s directing style at the time and his approach to the films
I love the ending. Peter finally becomes a man, let’s go of his friends to keep them safe even if it sucks for him, these are the consequences for breaking the spell. He finally accepts responsibility. Can’t wait for the new trilogy in the next few years. Great reaction man!
whos this peter character his life sounds sad
At least Tobey’s and Andrew’s Peters got better conclusions
The moment you realize a reactor hasn't seen "Daredevil"... my friend you have free content in the pipeline :)
Andrew saving MJ is basically as good a moment as there has ever been in a superhero movie. I actually now want to see Andrew Garfield and Zendaya in a movie together now.
Why Zendaya? He should meet a Spider-Gwen from another universe.
@@metalore No mate I just mean... a movie. Like, just another movie
While Peter was outside his body during the beginning of the the fight with Dr. Strange, his body could still move to avoid Strange because his spider sense acts as an automatic reflex
If you look closely, you can actually SEE his spider sense shimmering above his astral forms head

@@carlmccartney1025 thats right and they did it exactly like in Into the Spiderverse
Plus, he had those little spider sense waves coming out of his head like in the comics. Epic detail.
But swimming back into his body is bullshit. Hulk couldn't.
Childish Gambino was in Spider-Man Homecoming, he's playing Miles's Uncle, Aaron Davis.
Aka The Prowler 😁
Gambino also voiced Miles Morales in one of the cartoons.
@@ItsMeBarnaby no way 💀 he’s way to young lmao 😂
miles was literally 12 in his first appearance
18:15 Notice how Peter's spidey sense is working for him, even after getting his astral form pushed out of his physical form. The squiggly lines is there around his head. Nice detail and reference to the comics and also Into the Spiderverse since Tobey and Andrew's films didn't have the added visual effects like here but the subtle tingling sound effect instead everytime the spidey sense kicked in.
"Does Mister Murdock have superpowers??"
No, he's just a really good lawyer.
Even now, after watching the movie twice, and in a reaction video. The scene of Andrew saving MJ. Instant tears man. So perfectly executed.

Did you notice the change from „with great power comes great responsibility“ to „with great power there must also come responsibility? It’s a minor change but the mcu version is the original from the comics
Yup just figured it was there own twist
Scorpion with the symbiote hmmm 🤔 that would be interesting
Actually there is a time span of about 3-4 months between peter's identity being revealed and the multiverse crisis

It's insane you knew Garfield & Maguire were in it, but not the villains and actors who played them. Great reaction as always!!!

one of the most exciting Spiderman movies ever, I love how all 3 Spidermen had such a bonding and heart warming moment.
Damn interesting that EP3 would've been your favorite movie and that this dethroned it.

People are complaining about some of the composite shots right now but like, who gives a fuck lol. This movie is great and obviously not just due to nostalgia going by your reaction
Childish Gambino can't be Miles Morales - he is already Prowler.
A little touch I like about the coffee shop scene, MJ still had her necklace Peter gave her in Far From Home, so I think she has a small thought of Peter in her mind, that makes her keep it!
She probably doesn't know where she got it, and just knows that she has sentimental feeling for it but doesn't know why.
His dream would be accomplished.
no he wont that wya he has the arc to use it to stop it
Tobey and Andrew looked after Tom like a little brother.

In the actual movie he straight up says, "I got a nephew that live here"
Miles has been in the mcu the whole time they're just waiting to bust him out lol

I the “with great power comes great responsibility” is one of the most classic lines in movie history
This was insane in theatres
Fun fact in the original cut of the movie a version of Mysterio who actually is magic was ment to slip though and fight Dr.Strange
Hope you enjoyed i know I did it was an emotional Rollercoaster
Matthew Murdock (Really good lawyer) is Daredevil who teams up with Spider-man multiple times in the comics. Murdock not only went blind at a young age but also lost his parents. He has 3 seasons on Disney+ also featured in The Defenders
