Very Sorry about the loss of your father, but so grande you can relive the beautiful memories through the Holiday Season! The Christmas Lights were a favorite for my family as well. Dad used to dress up as Santa and drive all of us through the streets of Seattle to see all the beautiful holiday lights displayed. He would also fill his bag with gifts and we would deliver them to every home we visited. So much fun! Although I've never been to London, I am very grateful that you shared this gorgeous video of the Christmas Season from one of your favorite places! Especially the Window Displays throughout such a Spiritual Place in Time! From the Pomeranians to the Trees and Lights above I cannot pick a favorite as I loved it all! Thanks so much for posting!

I think of my late parents every day, and particularly at Christmas, which I and my 6 siblings all have such fantastic memories of. My Hubbie just said, the other day, that he would like to be in London sometime for Christmas, and your video has certainly encouraged that idea. Years ago I had a dear friend who worked at Libertys - I have several, gorgeous silk scarves that I received as gifts, all from Libertys, so it was very heartwarming to see their windows, which I loved. Anyway...lots of memories and really enjoyed your great shots of London all decked out in her Holiday best. Douglas, I just purchased a Roku streaming stick, and the first search term I entered was "London Christmas." Your video popped up. I really enjoyed it; very well done. Also, I was touched by the words you said about your Dad and could empathize with your grief. My own Mom passed away 29 years ago, and life still isn't quite the same without her. The first Christmas after she died I put up Christmas decorations and the tree, as she always loved to do. I felt as if she was standing beside me saying, "No, that ornament doesn't go there; it goes in the back of the tree!" So funny she was about those things. Anyway, I'm sure your Dad would want you to derive every bid of enjoyment you can get from Christmas and to laugh every time you felt like it. And know that he is beside you, too, as you do so. London has been my home for 36 years and each Christmas i always make a point of going to see the Christmas lights here in London, i remember the first time my Aunt said she had a surprise for me and it was to go to see the lights it was 1982 it was such a wonderful night, sadly my Aunt is no longer with us but i never will for get that first visit. It is just so good to see the colour and the work that goes into London puting on its Christmas face. Merry Christmas.

I think New York City and London are both up there together when it comes to Christmas store windows! Douglas, I just purchased a Roku streaming stick, and the first search term I entered was "London Christmas." Your video popped up. I really enjoyed it; very well done. Also, I was touched by the words you said about your Dad and could empathize with your grief. My own Mom passed away 29 years ago, and life still isn't quite the same without her. The first Christmas after she died I put up Christmas decorations and the tree, as she always loved to do. I felt as if she was standing beside me saying, "No, that ornament doesn't go there; it goes in the back of the tree!" So funny she was about those things. Anyway, I'm sure your Dad would want you to derive every bid of enjoyment you can get from Christmas and to laugh every time you felt like it. And know that he is beside you, too, as you do so. Happy Christmas 2019!

Lovely vid. London has been my home for 36 years and each Christmas i always make a point of going to see the Christmas lights here in London, i remember the first time my Aunt said she had a surprise for me and it was to go to see the lights it was 1982 it was such a wonderful night, sadly my Aunt is no longer with us but i never will for get that first visit. It is just so good to see the colour and the work that goes into London puting on its Christmas face. Merry Christmas.

I think New York City and London are both up there together when it comes to Christmas store windows! Just came across your beautiful Christmas lights video! I love London/ all of England & have made 4 trips there. My heartfelt condolences on the loss of your Dad! I lost my Mom March 19th of this year as well...so it's a bit bittersweet but still beautiful in it's own way because of our memories of them!
