Itchy Boots draait een dag mee in onze motoropleiding!

- Twee jaar terug gooide Noraly, AKA Ichty Boots het roer om. Ze verkocht haar huis, zegde haar baan op en ging op pad. Met haar motor. Solo. Twee jaar van reizen over de hele wereld volgden. Van deze reizen en haar avonturen heeft Noraly op haar TH-camkanaal Itchy Boots verslag gedaan, en met succes.
Door Covid genoodzaakt heeft Noraly haar laatste reis vroegtijdig moeten afbreken en is zij naar Nederland teruggekeerd.
Stil zitten? Da's niks voor Noraly, dus besloot zij via haar TH-camkanaal verslag te doen van de verschillende facetten van de Nederlandse 'motorscene'.
Na een circuittraining in Assen, trialrijden en modder happen tijdens het crossen voelen we ons bést een beetje vereerd dat Noraly deze week een dag met ons mee op pad gaat.
Op ons Centrum voor Handhaving en Mobiliteit in Lelystad sluit Noraly voor een dag aan bij onze cursisten en ondergaat zij een trainingsdag.

Itchy Boots fans, Noraly introduces herself with this video to the Dutch Police academy where she will ride along one day in the training program for police officers on duty riding motorcycles.
The video gives a very short summary of the past couple years in which she sold her house and Ducati, traveled to India, locally bought a new Royal Enfield (RE) and went on a trip around the world. India->Thailand, motorcycle flown to Oman, desert rides, ferry to Iran and then along the old Silk Road through the ..stan countries and Russia, through Turkey and Balkan countries, Austria, Germany IIRC, back to the Netherlands. Here she had to replace the Indian RE motorcycle by an RE that was compliant with EU norms and the old bike became a showpiece at the importer. After a brief stay in the Netherlands, she flew the new motorcycle out to Argentina where she took the Atlantic route South, as far as you can go by bike to Ushuaia, from where she took the Western route to the North through the Andes zigzagging between Chile and Argentina. The idea was to ride all the way to Alaska. In Bolivia or Peru she got stuck because of the Covid pandemic and was forced to repatriate to the Netherlands, leaving the RE #2 over there.
In the NL, she bought a 2nd hand Honda that she took on a tour North through Scandinavia (series 3) that also got handicapped by the pandemic, still wreaking pandemonium around the world.
Now she has ideas for a new series (4) that she started with several trainings that should add to her strengths as a motorcycle rider. Participating one day in the Police Academy's training program fits in well, I think, in these new series.

Noraly's motorcycle trip around the world was the best thing I've yet seen on TH-cam.

Hey, I don't speak a word of Dutch but I watched this video TWICE!!! And just 3 weeks ago I also brought a 2015 Honda CB500X and next summer plan to ride Key West, Florida to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. Now to Noraly that would just be a mini trip! I've turned on a bunch of guys at work to Itchy Boots and they also can't get enough of her.
Although I need some schooling on speaking Dutch, I still enjoyed this compilation of your travels! Now off to my Dutch language classes 😉

As a Swedish and some German speaker I can usually understand much of written Duch. But understanding the talk is a different story. I still watched the whole episode. As someone already commented, it says a lot of Noraly’s charisma.

It's made for the the Motordriving academy of Dutch police, considered the best driving education of The Netherlands. It’s amazing how much territory you have covered, and the improvements on the recording and the production of your videos, later having read the reason for producing this one I can only hope that you are successful with your request.

Two years ago Noraly, AKA Ichty Boots changed course. She sold her house, quit her job, and hit the road. With her motorcycle. Solo. Two years of traveling around the world followed. Noraly has reported on these travels and her adventures on her TH-cam channel Itchy Boots, and with success.
Forced by Covid, Noraly had to end her last journey early and she returned to the Netherlands.
