Welcome back to another Sunday video! Here is Mary Shelley’s ”The Last Man”. Have you read this book, and if so, what did you think about it? Make sure to subscribe if you haven’t already for more Folio Society videos in the future! Please like the video if you enjoyed it. Likes are always appreciated, and the same goes for feedback! Next video will be out next Sunday, and it is indeed another J.R.R. Tolkien Collection episode. Thank you so much for watching and have a lovely day! :-)
I was inspired by this video to order this beautiful edition of The Last Man. I also love the art by Casper David Frederich, though not related to the original novel, it captures that early 19th century world so beautifully. Cheers!
Got the book the last man. Got. Frankenstein. And i actually prefer. The last man over Frankenstein, that's just me I also like the 2008 movie the last man
Those illustrations are beautiful! I haven't really looked at The Last Man yet, my to read shelf is quite full as is. But this might be a nice edition to have one day. Currently reading Vita Nuova, again thanks for your review on that book!
Very beautiful indeed and they match the book very well; even though most of them were painted 10-15 years prior to the book! It was a real joy reading the Folio edition of Vita Nuova! I'm glad I could help you. :-)
This one is well done by FS. Given their sometimes questionable art choices. I will have to get this one as I have been working on short stories myself but I am not happy with my diction. Shelly will improve that I am sure.
Hi! My name is jHOIMAR and i want know if you sell the bokk like of this video. could send a book to Colombia? P.S: "wanderer above the sea fog" is my favorite painting of romanticism, I like this painting :) P.S 2: what is the name of piano sonG ?
There's hundreds of reviews of this book on the internet, but only one video showing this specific edition from the Folio Society. I want to help those that consider buying this specific edition, and I assume people can find out about the content elsewhere. :-)

Just order it from Folio Society or maybe Amazon.com. it's a beautiful edition and full of CDF's amazing art. Hope that was good advice, cheers!
Never seen someone devote this much time to judging a book by its cover.

Is the last man a suspense novel?
No, I wouldn’t say so. It’s incredible slow and demanding due to its language. However, the prose is very beautiful and I loved reading it.
Pontus Presents is it slow like trollope?
Oh much slower!
@@PontusPresents sometimes a book can be slow but still interesting.
Definitely! :-)
