Mike’s suggestion of making a cocktail classy by putting a flower on it reminds me of my friends who insists that a cocktail isn’t a cocktail if it doesn’t come with a little umbrella. 😂

That donut was bigger than their heads! 1200 food trucks sounds like a challenge that I want to try to best! Those drinks by Ricardo sound delicious!! Now I wanna try their cocktails too! Watching them enjoying the various cuisines made me hungry! Barry saying breathing is important and he plans to inhale his! Ben will apparently do anything for wine! OMG, AMAZING PRIZE! Maybe they'll bring a doggie-bag home for the losers! Watching them relish every bite from Uchiko was an experience! Texas bbq risotto sounds amazing! If you’re ever in the mood for a trip to Minnesota (during the summer), you HAVE to check out The Logging Camp in Park Rapids. It’s an all you can eat experience on the Crow Wing River. It used to be an actual loggers’ camp. Where loggers would ride the chopped trees down the river (think Paul Bunyan) to the saw mills. It’s AMAZING food, fun, kitschy vibe , and someplace I’ve gone every summer of my life (other than lockdown), with grandparents, cousins, and now my own kids. 10/10 we look forward to it every year.

This summer was particularly hot, hottest ever in Austin. Since they went to the Watermelon Festival, that's early July so it was probably 100+ every day.

@@ericaschner3283yup I wouldn't doubt it! I've lived here all my life and yet every year I'm still surprised by how hot it gets haha. I always think to myself, it's not usually this bad, is it?!

@@davidsaunders2893 in the case of 2023, no, it's not usually this bad. 🤣
At least it'll finally be under 90 next weekend. 🤞

Glad you guys decided to do this now. In a few years it'll be too hot to be outside in Texas.

Depending on when they filmed this, it was either 'too hot to be outside' or 'not too bad' given how the past few months have gone.

I’m glad you boys enjoyed my home state. You need to come back to Dallas at some point though and really explore the city and surrounding areas such as my hometown of Mesquite, a city named after a popular bbq wood.

I'm a Canuck but lived in Dallas from 80 - 82...that's when I first got hooked on BBQ (smoked).
Never made it down to Austin or Houston area.
