Thanks for watching. the Bosca solar panel in my video was rated at 7.2 volts DC max, open circuit voltage output and matched to the 25W solar light. If I were to replace it with an 18V solar panel, there would be a mismatch. The solar light would be exposed to over voltage from the 18V rated solar panel- a dangerous condition. I wouldn't do it. I might as well just buy a new, matched set.
Sir based on my simulated test this morning (tinabunan ko ng black material ang solar panel to mimic night time) naalala ng solar light ang last manual low brightness setting. Basta full auto muna, then manually set to lowest brightness. Try mo din po sir para ma confirm.
Yung red na LED ay charging indicator po. Sa gabi hindi nag chacharge kaya hindi sisindi ang indicator. Try nyo po sa araw dapat sisindi sya habang charging ang battery. Salamat po sa suporta.
my two 10w bosca floodlights slowly losses brightness (max) in less than an hour whether I set it it to Auto ON/OFF or manual mode. one of the units only have 2 levels of brightness - max and dim (not sure if it is the min).
@@wonderboykun yes, that's what I did. In my video I mentioned there's no way to know if the light is already fully charged. So to be sure, I let it charge first for 3 straight days in sunshine without using it at night. Then on the evening of the third day, I turned it on full Auto. That's how I got 12 hours of light every night consistently since then. I also mentioned other contributing factors. Good luck!

Base po sa aking observation, sa simula maliwanag sya sa automatic setting, pero pagkaraan ng mga 2 oras, kusang humihina talaga ang brigthness ng Bosca solar light ko I documented this in a video. Fully charged po ba ang battery ng inyong Bosca solar light? Ilang watts po ba? Whenever I have a new Bosca solar light, I let it charge for 3 days first before I turn it on (Auto on remote control) just to be sure that they are fully charged first. Kung sure po kayo na fully charged ang solar light ninyo, check nyo din po ang remote control battery (2-AAA) baka mahina na. Kung may kilala po kayong electrician I suggest pa check nyo din po sa kanila.

Naka sealed yung unit sir, at least doon sa 25W at 40W na Bosca solar lights. Wala akong makitang screw or way para buksan. Mukhang non-upgradable at masisira pag pinilit.

My Bosca solar lights have been performing well, so far. During summer season when nights are shorter the light works around 10-11 hours. During rainy season nights are longer so they work between 11 to 12 hours. They have not malfunctioned in any way. I've been curious about other brands, but I stick with Bosca as it has not disappointed me yet.

If you don't feel at ease leaving your solar light charging for 3 days before use, it's your call to just follow the recommended charging time. Sa akin po, walang naging problema ang 4 ko na Bosca solar lights, more than a year na, at nagsimula sa ganung charging at suggestion ko lang naman po iyon. I believe it has a protection circuit against over-charging. Otherwise, the solar panel, by just being exposed to sunlight from 6AM to 6PM, may already subject the battery to 12-hour over-charging. For Bosca solar lights, unfortunately, there's no indication of charge level, which is the main concern of quite a number of people.

Interesting question sir. Eto po nasa nameplate rating ng 25W and 40W Bosca Solar light. Solar panel for 25W: Max power 12W, Open circuit voltage 7.2V, Max power voltage 6V, Max power current 2A. Solar panel for 40W: Max Power 16W, Open circuit voltage 7.2V, Max power voltage 6V, Max power current 2.66A In theory, the 40W solar panel could charge the 25W light since they have common output DC voltages. It could also charge faster due to 0.66A more available current. I haven't tried it though.

According to BOSCA instruction it's fully charge in 6 to 10 hours. My question is do i have to removed the charger from the LED light everytime it is fully charge? Or should keep it connected the whole time?🤔🤔
I don't know what charger you mean. My LED lights have always been connected at all times to their individual solar panels without any issues. Once I've installed them, I put them on Automatic and never again used the remote control. They just quitely perform their function without fail, so far.

Sir yung red push button sa top ng remote naka label na "auto." Just press it while pointing to the solar light. It will blink 4 times, then just leave it. Naka full auto na po sya meaning it will turn ON and OFF by itself depending on ambient light and will automatically adjust brightness to manage battery power for whole night operation. Kung pinindot pa po ninyo ang ibang button (timer, brightness, ON) ma disable ang full auto. To enable full auto back just press "Auto" again.
Last year pa po ito sir kaya di ko na maalala, basta less than P1k. Pero price nya ngayon sa Lazada P739 nalang sa 25W Bosca solar light. Thanks for your support.

Sorry to hear about it. Have you tried fully charging them for 3 days? If it still not performing as advertised, I hope you can claim warranty.

They still do. Approximately 10-12 hours, straight depending on season. Long nights 12 hours. Short nights 10 hours. In between about 11 hours.
