Listen, you know I love yarn and I have a lot of it. But, I have never tried Glow-In-The-Dark and Reflective Yarn before! I have never touched it until now. I am going to be honest I was very skeptical but I have a shocking yarn unveiling about these yarns. Let's explore these yarns together and see if they glow or reflect light as they claim.
Here are a few things to mention about this review:
1. This is not a sponsored review. While the product was sent to me, I am not being paid for my review or my opinion. This is hands down an #honestyarnreview
2. I have never worked with or held reflective/glow-in-the-dark yarns before, so I am not influenced by prior knowledge.
3. While the prices of the yarns seem higher than average, that is because the glow-in-the-dark yarns are treated so they can be luminescent, and the reflective yarns have an added strand of reflective material for safety.
➡️ The safety applications really outweigh the price.

I worked with reflective yarn about five or six years ago. I made hats for grandkids and their parents loved them. I also made a cowl type of collar for our dog. Taking him out at night it worked great! Glad to see they brought it back!
I want to think you so much for sending the booties!! I am going to be showing them when I record the WWKIP video! Also thank you for sharing that with me. I never knew about it and agree, I think it is a very smart product to put out there. The safety it brings makes even more special of a yarn.

I’ve used the Lion Brand glow, it tells weight yardage etc. did some for the Boggy Creek Brigade. Thought it would be cool for the kids. It works without all the frustration of label. Did the multi color glow, I couldn’t tell. You gave them enough info to do better. I wonder if you mix the weight with another thicker yarn if it would glow? I feel your frustration. Thank you.
Yes, the multi did glow!! So the bigger skein the arrow is pointing to in the thumbnail is that multi-color with the metallic strand. I thought that was pretty cool! I hated I could not tell more about the other bases. I bet the Boggy-Creek kids loved glowing in the night! I also need to check into the Lion Brand Glow in the dark!
Those are cute wee balls of yarn. I hope that most of them were sample skeins and not the actual size of the balls. That is frustrating that more information is not on the labels though. I thought that would be kinda common knowledge to include yarn information on the labels. Even if it is in another language they should try to find some way to convey what yarn and type it is
Yea, I wanted the video to be a complete first impressions, if I had known about the lack of info I would have approached it another way. I like to keep things real though, so I went with it.. and was just honest about it. I still think it is pretty awesome though!

Hello!!! I hate I had to be away so long but I could not star at a screen during that ordeal. It was so uncomfortable. I will be in and out this month because of all the kiddo things we are helping with but I hope to be a little more active on the YT streets!
