Interesting video, thanks for posting it. Looks like the misread of the speed is synchronised at 13:24 when the car goes over a speed indicator (50) marked on the road. Their neural network does not "understand" the actual speeds, it just knows how drivers react to them. It's possibly that the majority of speeds marked on the road are for 30, to get people to slow down, and so it might be reading every number marked on the road as "30".
Solid video - great camera placement (unlike some other channels) ... too bad that the scroll wheel can't be used to tell FSD Beta you're still paying attention since that is what I've been using just like you ... one key criticism of your videos: fast-forward through those long stops at red lights - it would shorten up your videos and not waste our valuable time - a lot of us love watching videos like yours, but just hate those "dead spots" in a video when absolutely nothing interesting is happening ... other than that, if you make that one small change to edit out (fast-forwarding is fine) through those red lights, I'll gladly become a subscriber, etc. - thanks for the video! We can't wait to get v12 to see some of the improvements that we encounter during out regular drives with our current v11.4.9 build - thanks again!
Nicely done! I like the way you filmed this video. Would much rather watch the traffic simulation than a static Google map. Our new M3 RWD should be delivered this week, super excited. Wondering if FSD will work as well in the Edmond, Ok. area? I guess we have to buy it. It and the model 3 are truly amazing IMO.
You are kind of ballsy, driving a Beta FSD in the rain; or rather letting the car sail along rain puddled roads at 50 mph. Glad it worked out well in the end.
Funny to have had SO many times where I've watched the greatest and latest FSD version only to be disappointed with my own experience with our 2 FSD vehicles. Not that I've ever given up. However, I reluctantly : ) admit that FSD v12 looks to be VERY close to the real deal based on yours and many other vids I've watched thus far. What do you think being a long time user? Is is close to full autonomy? Won't have it here in Utah for a while I'd imagine. So curious how close you think Tesla is to FSD success, driverless or manned?
I really feel like this version is something else. I routinely take 20/40 mile drives street and highway and have no disengagement. The parking at destination can be a little funky. I have no idea how close, I have never ridden in a driverless car before.
Watched another vid in the 'country' and FSD kept slowing down and would not stay up to speed. So still some big hurdles for v12. Though I'm encouraged by the progress. Thanks again for posting and responding. @@notanotherteslachannel
Yes, That whole area. Not sure how the subscribing works. Bought mine with the car. I am not originally from the area and it helps me navigate so much better, but that is just my opinion.
It def needs a few areas of polish, but one thing it doesn't get right is parking lots. I think a lot of this is due to the poor upkeep, faded lines and no markings.
There are two "buttons" on the left and right of the steering wheel. They have a scroll wheel/ball and can be scrolled and clicked left/right and long pressed to do various things.
Great analysis and commentary . Looking forward to the next one and thank you .
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you for taking the time to post fsd v12 vid. I enjoyed watching. Version 12 is definitely a step forward. 👍
The test was very comprehensive, putting the FSD in situations other testers would not

Thank you for uploading this video.
Great commentary! Awesome ride.
it actually works, i am impressed
It has be "working" for awhile. I would say we are on an upward trend atm.

Cool, thanks!

It's no more ballsy than people driving just as fast if not faster without it.

Great video! Maybe it's not slowing down for dips in the road because it's on assertive? I've seen fsd slow down for them in other videos.
Could be, but I have noticed it avoid water ont eh side of the road and slow for bumpy roads now.
Subscribed!
Hey are you in Moreno Valley? Cactus avenue looks familiar I live in Riverside. I’m considering subscribing to FSD.

NHTSA should issue a recall for the auto wipers
Really? I would like it to work correctly but it’s okay to just do it the old fashioned way. Turn them on and off manually.
no interventions?
No disengagements / interventions ( like taking over) . Adjusting speed or maybe forcing a lane change isn't that big of a deal.
You mentioned the scroll wheel no longer works. What year is your car? I've seen other that still have the scroll wheel working. nice video
2021 MYLR
You need a better mic, it is only on mono.
Can I ask how much you paid for FSD?
Off the top of my head 7 or 8k when ordered the car.
What would you say is the biggest thing v12 doesn't get right?

@@notanotherteslachannel my understanding is that it will not back into a parking space - is that right?
For those of us in the hinterland we do not know what ya'll mean scrollwheel. I believe I would not go assertive.

Great video! Can't wait to get V12. My V11 been doing some really crazy stuff, I posted a couple of videos of it check it out
Thanks! Will do!
