Tim, can’t believe I just now saw this! I’d love to see you put a 2126 TLBM through the paces with all your tractor experience in the compact tractor market. It looks like Mahindra has been listening to consumers. The auto connect deck is the one thing I always wanted on “Mad Max” My Max26 XLT HST. Mahindra has stepped up their compact line no doubt. Biggest issue I have is dealer support is quite a ways from me. Hard to buy a Mahindra when you pass a John Deere, Kubota, New Holland, and Kioti dealer on the way.
Thanks Tim. I have a 2007 Mahindra 6530 basic 2 wheel drive open station farm tractor with 8 speed stand transmission. Basic and simple as you can get. Cost $15K . The overall machine is tough as nails. Engine, frame and 3 pt lift built like a tank. The only issue i have had are things like gauges and switches. Approx 3100 hrs on it and I have been thru 2 gauge clusters , 4 starter solenoids and 2 light switches. But the rest of the machine is rock solid.
The 4 start indicators would definitely help. When one of those swiches goes bad. You can quickly check out the problem or jump the sucker to get it back where it can be serviced. My tractor had problems and it took the dealer a couple of tries to fix it properly. They left a jumper wire ( disconnected) so they had jumped them in turn to find the problem.
A lot of great features, its always nice to see companies adding more features at a good price point.. It starts to force other companies to do the same
Great video Tim. Love these product videos the show. That Cab 25 hp Mahindra is very interesting. A lot of nice high-end features, however, looks like a pretty large machine for a 25hp. It looks to be a 2-range transmission as well. Knowing how a 1025 and 2025R Deere can feel a little week in high range unless you put a turbo on them. I am a little concerned how well that 25hp cab Mahindra with AC on a machine that large is going to perform especially with only having 2 ranges.
As someone who works at a Mahindra dealer we’ve had great luck outsourcing electrical components like alternators and starters for these machines. We have a guy locally who rebuilds them and can outsource them for us.
I like the safety switch indicator. I wonder if it will let you know when a safety switch goes bad. Because we all know that when one goes bad. They all get bypassed.
Nice review and sure like the cab model. I’m curious about the excavator capability of a sub compact vs the small mini excavators out there now. The small gas models are cheaper than the backhoe option on tractor.
I just purchased a Bobcat Ct1025- mainly because the dealer is 3 miles down the road and with the 60' belly mower, loader, pallet forks and cruise control for 19k after taxes.
We have a Mahindra 3616 and have only had 1 problem in 8 yrs. Only trip to the dealer was for first service and a small issue. Repaired and serviced along with a couple of improvements the dealer made to avoid problems. I would buy another one.
Love your videos. I was interested in the fact that it did not have regen. I understand that the regen actual cause major problems to the engine, when either requires major overhaul or replacement of the engine at around 7000 to 7500 hours. That may not be a problem for the hobbiest, but for the big guys it is. Another commentator taunted the channel that rebuilds or refurbishes old tractors, a friend of mine bought a new Kubota, but he kept his old ( not sure of the number) because it has been in the family a long time and sentimental and it worked. What tractor do you think would be a better candidate than the 2025 which I know isn’t popular since it’s basically identical to the 1025. Love my 1025 but I need like a foot more reach for pallet racks and to dump in my dump trailer. Tym 25, kioti cx2510 or now the Mahindra 2100 series? Absolutely love the foot print of the 2025 but it’s a waste of $ for no real improvement. @@TractorTimewithTim I believe you have already made a video about that. I bought a TYM on your advice.
@@RealJeeplooks like a good choice. TYM seems to be making the right moves at this point. Building dealer strength, investing in the future, etc.
My concern with Mahindra's with the Mitsubishi engine is the electronic governor, it's why I did not buy one last year.
Only Kubota and John Deere know who actually makes their compact tractors
TYM makes their own tractors and off brands a few more others.
Kioti builds their own tractors and build bobcat tractors bobcat builds the attachments

We published a video showing the 6-7 brands which make their own…now we need to add Mahindra.
My brother in Law recently bought a new full sized Mahindra and has had nothing but problems. Dealer went out of business and now he has to haul it 300 miles to get warranty service and it is always broke down for motor, transmission, and other problems. Could be just his bad luck but I would be very, very careful before purchasing a Mahindra. I know he will never purchase another one. Just a word of caution and his experience might not be yours.
Dang is this a car or a damn tractor stop putting all these stupid extras that drive the cost up of the tractor
Definitely to high priced😮😢😮😢
Cheaper than Deere. …by far.
If I'd buy a mahindra it would have to be the jeep clone sxs lol
To expensive. Won't give it a second look
POS tractors.
Tell me more.
YOU REALLY ARE JEALOUS OF TYM AND OR BRANSON , ELSE YOU WOULD NOT TITLE YOUR VIDEO AS SUCH. WELL I CAN UNDERSTAND WHY! BEING A john deere man your self.
Ha. I titled the video to get you to click.
It worked.
I have no issues with TYM. I DO have issues with rebranding. I think it is a horrible practice which only hurts the customer. There is NO advantage to the customer from all this rebranding.
If folks want a TYM, go buy a TYM. Good tractor!
I knew there was wickedness in you. Ha! Back I always watch your videos most are very good.
Is it more orange than red or more red than orange? Couldnt tell very well because of the indoor lighting
Red. Camera did not handle the lighting well at all. Sorry.
