Really cool documenrary, i have some Swedish Viking blood in my veins.. very proud of fhat heritage, Swedish Scottish Irish German, lots of warrior blood. im Canadian born and raised.. my grrat grandfather was a WW1 infantry veteran and my grandfather was a WW2 PPC light infanfry Veteran. very proud of my lineage. 👍👍
If anyone's brutally interested in Medieval Scandinavian warfare I hotly recommend Schwerpunkt's videos series. He's a PhD in Medieval warfare and he's got plenty of stuff not just on military history but Norse religion as well
I'm just curious. How can it be? Argued that it was just a repair station. If I remember correctly according to most of the stuff that has come out. I'm not sure if this is just an older video. And I just got a newer documentary. But, according to what I know is that there was clear signs that it was a long-term settlement, including bones and other things like that, as well as there are being documentation in the sagas of their being a long-term settlement. There now they didn't stay forever. No, but still it was at least 5 years which does classifies a long-term settlement. Also, there's gonna be a repair station which we have found those. Typically around those are long-term settlements so that you have someone to help you. Just in case you run around is the main theory. But whatever there's been found. A boat repair station which a they don't even look like what we found and be. There always by a long-term settlement.
Why is Leif involved, he was an explorer. His father Erik the Red might have been a better fit. Most scholars agree that Halfdan and Vitserk could be the same person. They never appear in the same source and Vitserk translates as "white shirt", so it might be a nickname.
I love the all story about Vikings..it is my kind..

I don't know if ragnar and lagertha actually met
Have you ever watch the loud House movie?
Why aren't any of them black women?
Oh right... Netflix didn't make this historic video.
Would be nice if it wasn't AI. Blah!
It's funny because when we originally made these videos, AI wasn't something we could dream of. We use a lot of Photoshop, of course, but no AI.
