Suunto is a watch brand that advertises rock-solid performance and sturdiness, but that's not true. I bought a Spartan Ultra for €600, it was repaired twice and now Suunto is telling me that it won't is no longer repairable (8 years later) for a brand like Suunto this is unacceptable, given all the misleading advertising they do on the after-sales service and the solidity of their watches. what they were able to offer me was to buy a watch again

nice summary and comparison. Personally i don’t see many additions over the instinct solar, so i will give the 2x a miss for now. Still, the prospect of maybe an instinct crossover x, is intriguing… time will tell…

I bought a new Garmin Instinct 2x Solar Tactical Coyote tan, I previously had a Garmin Fenix ​​5x, this watch is much better for me due to the weight, it has a flashlight which is not crucial to why I bought this watch, and amazing precision GPS accuracy. I also wear it when I go hiking, but regardless of the fact that it doesn't have a detailed map like the Garmin Fenix ​​5x, it always leads me to the goal with incredible precision in measuring kilometers and meters to the goal. I always carry a handheld GPS navigator with detailed Garmin eTrex 22x maps so that I can't get lost with these 2 devices. What I would suggest to anyone who has this watch is to make your routes in the BaseCamp computer program, because it has much more precise and detailed smaller forest trails, while Garmin Explore does not have such detailed trails. Any recommendations for this watch.
