I'm pretty sure Steve Jobs designed this watch because since his death, the Fenix series has never changed its look. It's so boring. And if the 8 series still looks the same, I'll switch to Samsung.

I'm a big fan of Garmin products but dont want a fenix with amoled display. The MIP display is one of my favorite things about the fenix watch.

Well, I had apple for 13 months, and I regret every day I had such products, I tried the watch, worst $800 investment I ever made but was able to trade everything for the S24 Ultra. Glad to see that Samsung is using Ti Grade 4, not 2 like the mediocre $800 brand. So, as for "rugged", well, if you cover it from head to toe, because that thing had 5 scratches by the time I got rid of it and Ti Grade 4 is vastly superior to the mediocre Ti Grade 2 watch, so rugged? Not a chance.

Every current Fenix and Forerunner has all the hardware a person can want, it's been that way for years, so upgraded the appearance and a few hardware features won't motivate people to upgrade or buy a Garmin. The problem with Garmin isn't their hardware, it's Garmin Connect and the software side of things, it's outdated and Garmin doesn't seem to be interested in keeping up with the software feature side of things. I won't surprised if Apple passes them in a few years.

As a long term Apple Watch Ultra owner I know it's a bit of a copy cat to say the least but this video is overly biased. I honestly think the Galaxy Watch Ultra looks cooler and most features are on par. The only thing it doesn't quite match is battery life but I'll be getting it for sure

The square + round shape is a copy of a previous watch from the same Samsung so it can't be e copy of the apple watch. the color of the strap has been used from other brands since 1990 or so and it's not an innovation from Apple. If you all want to say that the color of the button is a copy ok I'll give you that one but it's poor and ineffective particular that doesn't mean anything. I'm sorry for this Apple fanboy but the argumentations are not true and also poor of evidence. Too many "it seems" and "it may". Tell us whats real and objective!😛

here i am looking forward for a review and comparison, turns out this video is just promo video and smack talking

the copy cat accusations were debunked already, look it up. if you have are talking about the color of strap, since when does apple have a patent on the color wristband? One thing that may have heavily influenced them though is that quick action button. But i don't see that as an issue. it's way less damning than apples legal issue with the blood oxygen sensors in the US they got caught up in. i get this video is to show all the pretty slides, and that's fine. but if you really have the watch in person, why don't you make a 2nd video for an in person review and highlighting the bad points you brought up? showing that you had put what you said to the test, then that would be more convincing. i've seen videos of the apple ultra 2 used in diving, so that makes me more confident it makes a good diving watch if not the best. but i haven't seen any videos for the galaxy 7 ultra doing the same. that would make an interesting video ya? I ordered the galaxy 7 Ultra. But if i am being perfectly honest, i like the apple ultra 2 design because more screen size and the UI looks nice. But, the samsung has more watch face templates to pick from including color options.
