- Welcome to our Small Pantry Makeover which is episode four in our NEW Budget Boho Makeover Series at my sisters starter home here in Arizona! This pantry transformation starts with a small basic pantry that needed function, organization & a little personality, so that's just what we did... all on a budget!! We painted, decanted food into clear containers, organized with textured wicker baskets & added additional vertical storage to create a custom modern boho // organic modern vibe! I appreciate your pantry makeovers. You adjust according to the families needs, but most of all you don't break the bank and are willing to re-use containers even if everything isn't perfectly matching. Love the practical side to your makeovers!
I love the two-tone pantry!! Just because it's a closet, doesn't mean it can't be spiffed up!
My favorite is the can shelf. Everything looks so organized! It's so satisfying watching you peel the paint tape and label stickers off. The only thing I'd do differently is use non cursive letters so it's easier for the kids to read when they're older.
I'm so sad for this series to end but I loved every minute of it.

I love the two-tone shelves!! I did the same thing in my pantry!! I love the way you organize everything with labels and directions on organizers!! LOL I did the same thing with my containers I just was not as professional as you!! I think the pantry turned out absolutely amazing!! The pantry looks amazing! I really like the shelves painted a different tone. So crisp and clean. The clear containers and adorable baskets make everything available at a glance. Love the door storage for can goods. Again, so easy to see what you have. A huge difference that's beautiful and functional! Well done!
I have to share a funny story. My newly retired uncle took on the grocery shopping and was scolding his daughter over the disorganized pantry. He decided to organize it. His method, he used packing tape and taped all the like cans together in towers. When she reached for a can of tomatoes she ended up pulling out six. He was told to stay out of HER kitchen. 😄
I like the 2 tone pantry, it adds something unexpected & fun to an area that most people don’t pay much attention to.

I’ve watched the series so far and think everything looks great. Pantry organization is my favorite. You always put so much thought into the subtleties like the two tone pantry which is so nice. Who, but you, would ever have thought of doing it. Loved the way your sister had to touch every container as if she thought they were a mirage. Can’t wait for the master bedroom.
Those 2 tone shelves add a very unique look to this pantry. Getting extra room freed up from removing all those cans from the shelves helped a lot. It was beautifully organized; so pretty!
Absolutely love everything about this pantry! We definitely need a pantry makeover, especially since our 9 month old son is crawling and getting into things! Lol. Our pantry needs function. This definitely gave me ideas, including the two toned colors. Love that idea. 😊

An organized pantry helps to save money! I can recall finding 4 boxes of unopened taco shells in my pantry because it wasn't organized, I didn't know what I had so I kept buying items that I ALREADY had. Thank you for these great ideas and this beautiful transformation.
That crisp line after removing the tape is my favourite part of painting! Looks amazing, two-tone is beautiful🤩

Little tip to prevent future scratches on the shelves…. Hot glue felt furniture pads on the bottom of the wicker baskets since they tend to scratch painted surfaces sometimes. 😁👍🏻

I like the painted shelves. Another option could be contact paper. The patterns they have these days are very pretty. The finished pantry looks fabulous. So easy to see everything. I love it.
Everything has a place, you really need that when it comes to cooking or even checking inventory before you shop for food.
I love love love the idea of the tray and the caddy with all the elements for ease instead of having to unpack what you need from all the separate boxes napkins, flatware plates etc.
Using two colors gives the pantry dimension. The baskets and containers look so good. Loved the can holder it frees up so much shelf space.

Never even heard of a two toned pantry! At first I was thinking we were gonna do something crazy, like the green! The eggshell white worked so perfect 🤩 I love these videos because I am so bad at filling the space and making it more homey and these videos help me so much!

My favorite is definitely the two toned shelf’s. It still is not a custom pantry but it does elevate it up from your standard home pantry.

I remember when you first shared the can organizer idea. I always have had trouble trying to add more storage in my closets. This not only works well with pantry closets but also linen and cleaning supply closets. Adds so much more function 🙌🏻.
I love how beautiful everything turned out! But as much as a love things to be lovely to look upon, I still think that what will be the biggest win for your sister will be the baskets as I myself think that it is so much easier to keep track of everything when you put things together in baskets.

Love your "work smarter, not harder" way of reorganizing, by grouping like items as you go, and not just purging. It's cool to see you living more intentionally. You're more mindful/ conscious of your actions. I've been also trying to live similarly, and it's helped me find a lot of peace. It's super cool to see you translating this beyond just your own home. Amanda you and Kyle really are two peas in a pod. I get so inspired by your make-overs. I live in NM and I do most of my work at night. I just have my entrance closet to lean.. I love how you do everything within a budget. Truthfully. I love you both! I also love that you pull everything out and then you follow through and I really understand how this helps one out. I love watching you do pantry makeovers. I'm more of a one color in the pantry but I couldn't tell it was two. I love the paper plate and cup and plastic wear caddy. My favorite makes from the boho series is still the backyard/patio area

I love it!! I really love the baskets. I'm going out today to run errands and added Home Goods to my list of stops!!! You are right, the paint difference is so subtle but makes a huge difference. It looks amazing. I love how your brother-in-law mentions his favorite parts of the pantry. The idea to get a basket and combine things to make life easier for hosting, really made an impact on me. Another great idea we do is make sure we have the ingredients list. As my 3 yr old grandson is Type 1 diabetic, so we have to know the carbs. I normally stick them on the back of canister.
