We all die, but few can say they've left a legacy beyond just reproducing. I think even if we lose Simon sooner than we'd like, he will be happy in the end. He knows that he has helped countless animals and I respect him for finding a meaningful purpose in this messy world. Strong, committed, and ever vigilant in his duty to protect the animals and bring a smile to all of our faces. He won't go without a fight.
He certainly sounded and seemed better than in the previous video, I think, but that could be related to the chemo, not to how he's actually doing. Fingers crossed. Cancer can both do crazy advances but also crazy unexpected retreats (even if sometimes, it comes back four years later or so). (I grew up with people around me having various kinds of cancer, but personally have been very lucky, health-wise.)

In his situation still going strong. It takes some hell of a dedication to do this and a rare inner strength. I don't know how to express how much I see that as a role model. I'm teaching my niece by this example how to stay strong. Hopefully I can do a good job with this

More team efforts to release the trapped fox cub, like the way Simon talks to the cub and Lawrie goes fence jumping (once a again). Good that the cub was able to run off home after a wriggle.
It's no surprise to me that Simon is out and about on these rescues. I think we all know that he's going to be a part of as many rescues as possible until he physically cannot anymore.
Fox are SO adorable, SO completely irresistible... I have to remind myself they're wild animals. I would otherwise LOVE to cuddle up with them like sweet innocent beloved pets.🙏♥️🇺🇲✌

From what was said and the reaction I don't think the fox was there all that long, as there was only a little blood and s/he had the strength to threaten a good bite before taking off. Love it ❤... I saved a tiny nibbly field moose from Penny cat Fiday night. Saddly... I stopped for a hedgehog last night - to encourage it off the road. Broke my heart - a car had clipped her & lost a lot of blood. Dead. I've never hit a hedgehog or rabbit. Love them so much & only takes a small courteous effort.
That was a tricky one... but what really matters is that it was yet another hugely successful rescue-release of an animal that would have stood no chance without your intervention! Well done Lawrie, Simon and Abbey :) xxx

0:42 that foot placement is something a crack climber would do, I've seen The Wide Boyz on TH-cam do that all the time. Do you do any climbing like that Lawrie, besides of course climbing trees?
