He bends the note too high and it kinda sounds like shit.... :/ the singing is good tho, but he doesn't even touch the solo, which was kind of a disappointment. I have to say, the clash did it better, my opinion anyways.
If you'd been there you wouldnt have noticed what you're criticizing-if you'd been there the high energy this band has for this song could knock people out and I mean in a good way.

I've been lucky enough to have seen The Clash play live on a number of occasions - including an unforgettable free and unpublicised acoustic session at Glasgow Arts School. Clash fans should be thankful to Green Day for keeping an awesome punk version of this song alive.

I own American Idiot and Dookie and it says Billie Joe -Guitars, no one else is credited for guitarwork. from Warning onward they started using two guitars so he asked his friend Jason White to come on stage with them and play lead guitar so and he can jump around and entertain the audience while just playing rhythm guitar

Setzers voice and style is perfect for this old rock-a-billy tune. GD totally nailed Working Class Hero though, that's a great cover.
