I thought when Malaysian ride from KL to Thailand already kind of adventures. But you guys ride from Singapore to Hatyai in one day with xmax scoot. That's fantastic bro.
Solid! I did from Serangoon Singapore -> Songkhla -> Penang -> Singapore on a fully stock Sniper 150. Singapore to Thailand in a little bit more than half a day is possible!
Respect you. Too tiring for me. 18 years ago, I did......... In a small tow truck. From KL to Padang Besar and back. Started 9 am and reached home 8 am the next day. I collapse. 😂😅
power la within 1day+ ish go TH and back to SG... I go until Jurong from Hougang already tired haha... hope to go KL some day. what's the most comfortable speed for Xmax for cruising where the vibrations aren't too buzzy? 100-120km?
The XMAX is quite a smooth operator, doesn’t really feel buzzy. My target average speed is about 100km/h, and I pick the speed up sometimes to cater for rest stops to get back to my average. Also the XMAX is way more fuel efficient at such speeds, so I can cover a much further distance on a single tank.
I did this in a car from Singapore to Hat Yai in December 2022 already find it a bit tiring, u did it on a scooter in the pouring rain 😅 ... Respect to u
Bro, Did you need to fix extra lights for xmax .. For the night ride ? What about the paperwork for entering Thailand, you had to get it done in advance ?
I’m still working towards getting clearer audio, which is possible. So I’ll probably share how I do it in a video in the future. Nope, I’m not using the audio from the Cardo.
Bro how do u tahan the journey, any tips? I mean I ride too, usually after few hours I'll get sleepy already and in the end will take more breaks instead. Making the journey longer than it could be.
I’m no expert. But keeping a list of planned stops for fuel according to distance is what I like to do. It is quite normal to have more stops towards the end of a ride to rest. So I plan those in. It is much easier to deal with a planned rest stop than searching for one when you feel fatigue kicking in. The food you eat is also pretty important. You kena one nasi lemak sure after that sleepy. So go for maybe a sandwich instead. And Panadol Extra. Haha.
Hey bro I’m planning to buy a used xmax 300, is there any difference between 2017 xmax and 2021-22 xmax? Or are they totally the same other than the color of the body? Ohh btw it’s great you did it all in one day, I can’t do that.

Solid!!!
So do you need to prepare any documents or anything to go through the border in Thailand ?
Yes you need to. Logcard as proof of ownership, TM2, white card etc. You can’t just turn up at the border like you do between Singapore and Malaysia.

If you’re not talking about the current gen XMAX on the market now, the 300 is pretty much the same across the board for all model years.
Really respect u for daring to ride solo on such long distance
Try hatyai and back in 24h with a car lol
