  • In some marketing materials, the CBR650R is referred to as a 'sports touring' motorcycle. So, last month, my partner rode one up to Thailand, and I tag along with the XMAX.

      Nothing too difficult to manage. I only roll when I have to. But if necessary, I’ll charge it up on the go.

    Hey bro, any tips on taking the train from bkk to hat yai? I usually ride the boring stretch; but thinking of trying the train…currently headed to Cambodia now..in Korat.

    • @tractionsg
      @tractionsg  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The new train station in BKK is a bit complicated than the old one. You’ll board the train as a passenger at Krung Thep Aphiwat (Bang Sue Grand). But your bike will be loaded up at Bang Sue Junction, which is next door.
      The reason being is that there is no cargo office at the passenger terminal. What I suggest is to turn up a day earlier at Bang Sue Junction’s cargo office just to check when is a good time to load up your bike into a cargo train to Hat Yai. With that in mind, you can purchase your passenger ticket over at Bang Sue Grand, online or by calling 1690.
      Would suggest to give some ample time for all of this especially in BKK. Occasionally they may decide to load up your bike in the depot and ask for your keys. I refused the last time round, and rode the bikes over to the depot myself. I’ll share about my experience in the upcoming videos.
      Boring stretch indeed, but the southern part of Route 4 and 41 is now riddled with construction work and road diversions so it is a good idea to take the train.
      Hope this helps! Do drop me a DM on IG (@idtlb) if you need anything else! :)

      @@tractionsg Thanks idris. I’ll DM you once I’m headed back Southwards to home. Yes, a lot of roadworks now.
      Tks for your reply; I think I’ll opt for the train but BKK traffic is 🙄

    Hey bro, what's the app you use for Malaysia weather forecast?

    • @tractionsg
      @tractionsg  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In the video, I’m using the stock Apple Weather app. But you can use MyCuaca (a bit buggy) and also myENV for the southern states.
