- I love Christmas time, especially in the North GA mountains. We have all sorts of fun activities from Christmas parades and lights to visiting tree farms or going on a train ride. Of course a visit to North GA is not complete without checking out Dahlonega, widely known for looking like a set from a Hallmark movie!

Does it snow at all that way in North GA ?
Yes, we do get snow sometimes. It’s usually flurries, and on occasion if it’s more than that, it’s usually gone by the following day at noon. Every once in a while we’ll have enough accumulation to last a few days.
