From his previous albums to this new one when you follow you realise cole is soo matured and aware of himself and knows alot about the industry he feels at peace about where he is in life now. LEGENDARY
I’m just gonna say it, for me personally speaking, this is the best album of the year thus far. It’s just a perfect album. The soul samples, the lushness of the orchestration, the raw old school feel, the rapping is fire, the lyricism superb, nothing is forced, every track is expertly executed, the guest spots are incredible. It’s like Mos Def, The New Danger era + Anderson.Paak’s Malibu had a baby and hired Gnarls Barkley to babysit 😂🤣It’s just perfect. Pride Is The Devil is my fav. on the album but the whole album is an instant classic, pure 🔥
It’s too early to say it’s the album of the year when we have Drake, lil uzi and kendrick on the way possibly this year lol

J cole is a dope artist but (for me) nothing really stands out that makes me want to listen to the song again (like i have to force myself to listen to it again) ...as opposed to Tech , Kendrick , Eminem ,NF ,black thought....in every song these artists have something that stands out like a Flow , cadence , rhyme scheme , subject...that makes me feel like an addict...that I gotta listen that song again and again.
