I really don't see the point of keeping that a spoiler when Titan shifting is like a fundamental premise of the AoT series. Just say eren is a Titan who fights titans. As if that ruins the whole show. Anyhoo never mind my rant. Back to kabaneri.

It was a good show but it was a bad time to release as when attack on titan was at its hype peak. And people called this show a copycat of Attack on Titan.
After the Mumei showed that her point of infection was in the middle of her back I was suspicious. The infection is spread by bite Ikoma had his in his arm. The no way Mumei could have been bitten.
Damn I missed this unique anime, steampunk ancient Japan filled with weird zombie virus that focuses on a locomotive train for survival. The only downside this has are the idiots that is comparing this to Attack on Titan, which had the same vibes on idiots comparing any game with high difficulty to Dark Souls.
Ohhh I remember this anime when it released and it was constantly being compared to Attack On Titan as the walmart version of it so I never thought of watching it
yeah and then he forms what looked like a sibling relationship. a VERY forced romantic relationship with a 9yr old by the end of the final episode LOL besides that the anime was fire 7/10
I can’t help but feel the Kabaneri were inspired by the real life Italian Carabinieri, both carried carbines when they were first established and the names of these two organizations are just too similar.
It's weird how ikomo is the only one that gets white hair and green tinted skin after becoming a half zombie, but the half zombie girl doesn't. I hate when creators don't even follow their own mechanics

Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress is one of my favorite zombie anime of 2016. Along with High School of the Dead is awesome anime of 2010.
