Nic Nolte is only the voice but he sells the dialogue. The line about freedom is what sold me on the humanity of this character. Kuiil was a great character. Simply for that reason I gotta find room for him and his Blurrg

5:22, that’s a micro welder.
It was first seen in ANH when the Jawa attached a restraining bolt to R2-D2.
It’s become something of a trope for the prop guys in universe and is exactly what it is: a micro welder. It uses small bottles of O2 and acetylene that are the same size as the co2 cylinders used in air soft.
It also gives geeks like me a squee.

Hi Justin! Hope all is well with you. I’m so glad they offered Kiull on this blrug because he is perfect there on the blurg since he raises them. It was sad that he escaped the empire but got killed saving Grogu. So we’ve waited quite a while to get this figure. I admit that Kuill looks as impressive on the blurg as Mando did. What’s funny about Kuill is that his personality in the show is so impactful. I really miss his guidance and wisdom. After seeing this duo, I really would love to get both and have in my collection. Thank so much for the video!

I have seen the Mando and blurrg on display at Minotaur in the Melbourne CBD and my gosh that creature is huuuge. If I were to get Kuiil, it would have to be the solo figure. Great review as always Justin!

I wish I had the room for the blurrg so I opted for ordering just Kuiil. Waiting to get him soon. I think that little mystery piece is a small welding torch for all of his projects. I love how intricate this figure and his costume are. I'm surprised that his mouth opens and that King Sharks mouth isn't articulated the same way. But then the blurrg doesn't have an articulated mouth either. I'm sure Hot Toys is trying to figure out what other small sized characters they could produce to make use of that new body.
Totally fair, it is enormous! I agree articulated mouths can work wonders for posing!

Hi Justin, I saw your video about the setup you use to make the videos, and I remembered that you used a 60x60 cm lightbox. With this blurrg instead, how did you put them all together? Did you use a larger lightbox?
I don't use a Lightbox anymore due to them making such large stuff. I use a studio setup
