I loved the craft room tour. Please keep us posted with your progress. I agree 100% about no more floss on bobbins.... thread drops are way easier. It will be a labor of love to get that spinner ready for your floss, but it will be cool!!!
Lisa, I absolutely love those rocking chairs you got. Love the fabric on them, they are gorgeous. Love the way your decorating your sewing room the shelves will be wonderful for your fabric too. I think you should paint the small cabinet aqua to match the chairs. You are such a creative gal and so down to earth I feel like I've known you for a long time. LOVE LOVE LOVE what you did with the ladders. And those chairs- what a find!!! Your room is coming along beautifully! I don't know if someone has already said this but you don't need to put nails in the display on wheels. You can just buy slat hooks. They fit in the metal slots and you can move them around as you need to and they are not expensive. Like the 1" hooks are about $26 for 96 hooks. Hope this helps.

I love how you have the old ladders hanging from the ceiling and how you’re decorating your space it’s very cozy looking. I also love that you have a tv there to watch flosstube while you sewing I might steal that idea, I just use my ipad pro but a tv would be way better. I’m so happy I found your channel.

I am a scrimshander, I do scrimshaw for my husband he is a high end custom knife maker and other knife makers as well and gun handles too. So I have my microscope and all my tools for that in there and in the walk-in closet is set up with my sewing machine and I have all my cross stitch supplies and fabrics in the shelves. I also have a comfy arm chair in my studio with my floor stand. I use to stitch in hand but I have arthritis in my left hand so I don’t like holding on to my stitching for to long so I use a scroll frame or Q snap now with my floor stand. I’m also getting arthritis in my left knee too, it sucks getting old. Anyway I don’t know how to load a picture for you to show you my studio or a small video. It is not as nice as yours. But I was telling my husband this morning that I want a tv in my studio to watch flosstube while I stitch or work. And he said yeah next time I go to Walmart to pick one up and he would mount it on the wall for me, the only thing I have to take down one of my antique quilts I have hanging on the wall. Oh well can’t have it all I might keep an eye out for an old ladder like yours to fold them on that in a corner.

For the turning shelf that you got, you might look at options to put command strips with the hooks on them for holding your thread. That way you can easily change things around when you add more; just a thought. Hugs and happy stitching...............

I know I’ve told previously !you about my mother and my relationship and how close we were and about being her caregiver her last six years of life. When you showed your mothers picture it almost brought tears to my eyes because my mother had the same beautiful white hair and her name was also Bettie 💕💕💕. LOVE LOVE LOVE what you did with the ladders. And those chairs- what a find!!! Your room is coming along beautifully! I don't know if someone has already said this but you don't need to put nails in the display on wheels. You can just buy slat hooks. They fit in the metal slots and you can move them around as you need to and they are not expensive. Like the 1" hooks are about $26 for 96 hooks. Hope this helps.

I love how you have the old ladders hanging from the ceiling and how you’re decorating your space it’s very cozy looking. I also love that you have a tv there to watch flosstube while you sewing I might steal that idea, I just use my ipad pro but a tv would be way better. I’m so happy I found your channel.

I am a scrimshander, I do scrimshaw for my husband he is a high end custom knife maker and other knife makers as well and gun handles too. So I have my microscope and all my tools for that in there and in the walk-in closet is set up with my sewing machine and I have all my cross stitch supplies and fabrics in the shelves. I also have a comfy arm chair in my studio with my floor stand. I use to stitch in hand but I have arthritis in my left hand so I don’t like holding on to my stitching for to long so I use a scroll frame or Q snap now with my floor stand. I’m also getting arthritis in my left knee too, it sucks getting old. Anyway I don’t know how to load a picture for you to show you my studio or a small video. It is not as nice as yours. But I was telling my husband this morning that I want a tv in my studio to watch flosstube while I stitch or work. And he said yeah next time I go to Walmart to pick one up and he would mount it on the wall for me, the only thing I have to take down one of my antique quilts I have hanging on the wall. Oh well can’t have it all I might keep an eye out for an old ladder like yours to fold them on that in a corner.

I love the chairs that you found; they are so beautiful!! I am totally envious of your stitching room; it is so wonderful to have all of that space and the storage is great. For the turning shelf that you got, you might look at options to put command strips with the hooks on them for holding your thread. That way you can easily change things around when you add more; just a thought. Hugs and happy stitching...............

Mine never has what you manage to find and if it did, it would be 10 times as expensive. I love your primitive look and you are quite the enabler. I know I’ve told previously !you about my mother and my relationship and how close we were and about being her caregiver her last six years of life. When you showed your mothers picture it almost brought tears to my eyes because my mother had the same beautiful white hair and her name was also Bettie 💕💕💕. Its always nice to hear your little chuckle! Your sewing room is already looking good to me! All that stitchy and quilty goodness. Love those chairs and what a bargain. Did you crochet the throw on the one chair? It looks really nice on it. Last year for maynia I started a few patriotic pieces so I'm just going to go back and stitch on those again and hopefully finish a few. This year I've tried limiting the new starts as I was accumulating far too many.

Hi Brenda. The restaurant where I work was getting rid of that candy display also. Got it free. Yippee. Now I just need to find some baskets or bowls that fit in the holes...I can visualize some fabric getting put in there. We'll see. Happy stitching
Love your sewing room! Been tossing around ideas for my new space. The complex where I live is going to build some 55+ senior adult apartments and I’m on the list to get one of them. As soon as I get the floor plan then I will have a better idea of what I would like to do. This was a fun video! Thank you!

I have two dear quilting friends, but I don't have anyone I know who stitches. But as I find more and more lovely ladies on floss tube I feel I have a whole group of friends who love cross stitching as much as I do.
