    I've viewed many sewing room organizational videos and this one has been the most helpful for me! Your tips are great for those of us who don't have a lot of money to invest in our rooms. The bare necessities to begin with. I have a lot of sewing odds and ends I've collected in my 65 yrs, Saving for the day I would be able to have a designated sewing room. My mother owned a drapery business and I would always accept any scrap, trim, hooks, etc that she offered! Now to sort and organize my boxes of treasures! Thank you for taking your time to share with us!!! It is tremendously appreciated!

      Thank you so much for this lovely comment and for sharing with me a little about yourself! I agree that a lot of sewing room tutorials are fancy. I just can't put that much money into it! I love the little space I've created for myself.

    I love the fabric storage idea! I’m just starting out with sewing and I’m already challenged with fabric storage

    Great video. You have SO MUCH at your fingertips, yet the room doesn't look cluttered or even crowded. Great video! 😀

    These are some great tips. I’ll have to get one of those Halifax drawers. It would fit nicely under my sewing table. Thanks for sharing.😊

      👋bestie! Yes! You would really love the Halifax. If you want one to go under your sewing table I would tell you to get the one that has 5 drawers. Anything over that won't fit because the Halifax have wheels on it. It's nice though.

      I agree! It's so hard to create in an unorganized space. Unless you are someone who can't function in organized environments. I know a few people who can't handle too much structure. But me... I have to have organization to function. 😁 thanks for watching

    I love the cardboard recommendation for fabric storage - I'm going to use that one! I also want a pegboard system. I'm envious every time I see one in people's videos 😊. Great tips!!

      Hi Michelle! Pegboards were sent by Angels! Love them. And the cardboard/ presentation boards are super easy to make. Thanks for watching 😁

    Lots of great ideas. I was just wondering whether I need a peg board or not. Also the folding table. Is your 4ft table evough table space to do all ur cutting? I could not decide between a 4 ft or a 6 ft folding table. This was helpful.

    • @crumpetsteaandsewing
      @crumpetsteaandsewing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Carmen! Actually I have a 6×4 so it's 6 feet long. And it's actually a great length. But I also think a 4 would work great too.

    I’m intrigued to know how many pairs of scissors you have! I counted 11 outside of your little filing drawers then I saw another load in the top drawer!! I think you have a thing about scissors!! Diana

    • @crumpetsteaandsewing
      @crumpetsteaandsewing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      🤣🤣🤣🤣 yes I have plenty of scissors. I have extra scissors that the family can use. Also, my oldest daughter is a crafter. When she moved out she left all her scissors, so I inherited more 😆

    • @crumpetsteaandsewing

      The medium one, I think. I've been trying to figure that out. But I'm guessing

    I would suggest using acid-free magazine boards to wrap your fabric. Cardboard is not acid-free and will damage the fabric over time.
