I have a new windows 11 laptop, this problem happens when I try to open settings. my taskbar does not work at all, and I cant even open teh battery/wifi/sound menu from the taskbar...
was able to connect wifi from the lock screen, and use the browser microsoft edge from the desktop
oh also, none of my files are showing up.. not even folders like "This PC" or "C:"

I've tried this and it doesn't work. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but. My Microsoft store isnt even available in the app and feature area. When I go to wsreset on run it gives me that message you'll need another app and I'm getting frustrated. That and my alarm and calendar is gone
1) Uninstall the Store:
Press Windows key + X
Click and Run Windows PowerShell as Administrator
type: get-appxpackage -alluser Microsoft.WindowsStore
then take note the PackageFullName (we need it later)
Now Type: remove-appxpackage PackageFullName(you take note earlier)
Enter then proceed to reinstall Store
2) Reinstall the Store:
Press Windows key + X
Click and Run Windows PowerShell as Administrator
At the command prompt, copy-paste the following then hit Enter:
Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
So will the power shell and CMD do something to ur computer
Both are different but 80% commands works in both…
I installed a cracked game and during the installation the windows defender popup showed some malicious software. After that, I could no longer access windows security. I tried to install security from windows powershell but it did not work, trying the sfc commands now. system Restore did not work either

It happened to me recently, I just left for 2 days and then all my docs, vids, and pics etc. were visually deleted. Visually because the apps still work, the files are intact just in a different location but inaccessible since it says "You'll need a new app to open this ms-paint link"
All I did is just restart it and nothing else
Hey i don’t know if you figured it out but i fixed that exact same problem i was experiencing. All i did was go to my windows search tab, type in; add or remove programs, search roblox, uninstall it, go back to your roblox homepage, play a game, then when it tells u to install roblox to join the fun you reinstall it and click play

I tried them all. I contacted Microsoft support 5 times, and they couldn't solve this. Sadly only solution was to do a Clean Windows Installation.

Nothing worked, I'm getting this stupid error with almost everything I click on, usually it's not a problem because the app will work and the pop up will disappear when I click off screen,, but now I can't download torrents or magnets because of this thing
