I don't want to see anything indicating Nvidia is a viable alternative now. Their power connectors still have problems, you can see it in the igorslab update. Intel has improved their drivers a lot, so you shall compare AMD with Intel next time instead of Nvidia, who are using their monopolistic power within the graphics card market badly and whose products are overpriced and inclined to fail within a short time.
Love this friendly competition between PC builders as it provides more template, guide and options especially for the lower end build. Kudos to Zach as well for taking the challenge and he even posted and promoting Zach's video and page for others to see.

You know what man. This is the first time watching one of your videos. You've gained my respect with this. Subscribed. Thoroughly enjoyed this. Thanks 💚
I really think Zach handled this very professionally, as well as friendly, in my opinion. The content was thorough in addressing the comparison as well as coming up with a build himself to rival Elijah's, although I believe the two were quite similar, again, in my opinion, with Zach's maybe just edging out Elijah's, price to performance wise. But that all depends on the parts you're able to get and at what price. To me, it'll be a toss up depending on who can find the better deal. And all the other one has to do is wait for a better part to become available for a better price, which, if you look around enough and are patient, you'll of course, pull off. Thumbs up!
One of the reasons why Elijah used a 3060, instead of some other better valued Amd cards was because for his goal (selling PCs on Facebook) Nvidia gpus tend to sell a lot better. I've been messing with computers since 1979 and nowadays, the case is the most important thing to me. You can get the parts for a top 10% gaming PC second hand and new for $500 but it' should look good and be quiet
Challenge idea: Build the cheapest possible pc requirements: it has to be able to run starfield on the lowest settings in 1080p with a 60fps 1%low rules: you can use new or used parts, AND you can also overclock within the factory limits of the cpu/gpu/ram

Competition is what keeps us sharp. You both make great content. Keep up the great work.
That "I am coming for ya" was crazy cold ❄️❄️🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶
friendly competition! love it nice video Zach, i havent seen Elijahs video but if its as detailed and respectful as yours is then id give it a thumbs up too!
This kind of videos is the absolute best and fun to watch!
You and every pc builder that just challange each other is so fun and always intrested too watch. 🙏👌
I love that you so frendly and good!
yessir! elijahslab gon be big after this much deserved❤
did you see the video where he scammed someone
what he scamemd someone? which video@@markwazowskinreal

i rly enjoy Elijah's Lab's content i think hes very underrated
Agreed
Smaller creators make their challenges easier in a way that they can focus on views and watch time.
He isnt that of a small creator, but i can say this as a very small creator that still regularly uploads and is on youtuhe for almost 4 years
Edit: overall, i did similar things, so I can't blame him, i dont thing hes really in the wrong
I saw some cases online earlier that were "open box" for as low as 12.99 each, says no damage and all parts included and some even come with fans. Might actually grab one to move my plex server into
I love it when youtubers call out on each other. This mean more video to watch while having dinner 😂
ive found that DIY case has 3 exhaust fans stock and no intake fans , so i had to turn the 2 around backwards, or replace the fans entirely so they all match in order to have static pressure inside the case to keep temp below 65" c
This is the kind of competition the PC community needs, best budget build
You guys should just finish this in a battle of fisticuffs. Not that Elijah's build was bad, but Zen+ definitely is showing its age. Zen 2 that your 3600 per core runs miles around zen+ cores. The biggest benefit of AM4, you can go all the way up to Ryzen 5 series.
I love how the fans are all exhaust in the build 😂
Also it’s because you listen to us which is why you’re one of if not my favourite pc building TH-camrs ever!! ❤❤🐐🐐🇿🇦🇿🇦
I love this video 😂 the personal attack you felt is good fun. The amount of times you stated you didn't know it was a competition could be a drinking game.
I hope to see more light hearted beef, that overall helps us brokies
Two of my favorite pc building TH-camrs fighting. Yay😁
😉
@@shawner7340 are you the shawner?

I've been messing with computers since 1979 and nowadays, the case is the most important thing to me. You can get the parts for a top 10% gaming PC second hand and new for $500 but it' should look good and be quiet
Challenge idea: Build the cheapest possible pc
requirements: it has to be able to run starfield on the lowest settings in 1080p with a 60fps 1%low
rules: you can use new or used parts, AND you can also overclock within the factory limits of the cpu/gpu/ram
Funnily enough this is the first video of yours or his that I've ever seen lmao, definitely gives a good first impression of you and a nice recommendation for another channel as well
😉
12:05 Just couldn't get over 9000 huh? ;)
Thanks for the tip on the RX 5700 XT - I've been struggling with making a budget Ryzen build with absolutely no money and I was able to snag one for $170 CAD (125 USD). I've been eyeing the RTX 3060 12GB for months, but the price is always around $400 CAD ($295 USD) which was seriously bumming me out.
My gaming laptop build cost me less than $400 and can run any game perfectly all the parts where brand new its even being used for vr you dont need to spend alot of money for a good gaming experience i love these build videos
This is definitely THE META budget build. nice one Zach!
Budget PC Wars!! I love it!
You Elijah and TB should do a 500$ or less PC build challenge that would be super fun and interesting
I bought the exact same build and it is so good i can do everything, streaming, cutting and content creation i would never need something better 🎉❤❤ thanks
I hope this goes back and fourth getting better and better
this is how you know this guy a legend he made a video out of friendly competiton thats how you do it zack love to see this. these day iam super inpressed by zack in this vid it could be taken out of context but zack pulled it back this is how you do it zack he just wanted to bate you a little hay it a nice thing to do in my option as shows the level of class shown here iam a fan of this guy have been for a while and will continue to be love it
Awesome video, watching u had me learn more a d starting flipping laptops and pcs. Thnx honest reviews informative and straight forward.
I would really love to see a budget gaming pc competition between you Tech Source and Elijah's
2:45 if your pc had a white gpu ez win 🏆 your case was much better fitted for mb and I like the dual fans in front of pc tower. Also, he hit you with a low blow. I say you guys have a battle with a 1k budget, or less! The winner is determined based on looks and performance. Who ever has the highest fps with lowest temperatures and best looks wins 🏆 🤗
Tbh both PC’s look amazing and would love either!
Zach Is the best budget builder no one can beat him
Heads up on 5700xt. They show up on aliexpress for $97 "new" pretty frequently. I belive I've picked up 3 at that price.
I like these videos.. pushes yall too build the overall best bang for the buck. I love competition.
I built a zeon 2666 with a 1080 ti that cost me roughly $380 that runs cyber punk 2077 ultra at 57 fps. Strange how budgets PCs just do everything and are cheaper with only few downsides.
PSA for anyone that is trying to budget out a build similar to this but wants a different motherboard. If the motherboard is >21cm in width, it will not fit in this case. Some Micro ATX motherboards are larger and I learned that the hard way trying to cut even more costs by using a different motherboard.
I'm so happy for both of you guys, i watch both your channels and love when I see a new up load. There's a newer channel KJS BUILT i just started watching to, hes got some nice builds
Thanks for the recommendation.
Just went over to this guys channel to give him a piece of my mind… by telling him that I enjoyed the healthy competition it created, gave him a sub too :D you’re both awesome, keep it up Zac
5700xt has been great for years, but it's hard to recommend after the results in Alan Wake 2. We'll see mesh shaders used more and more.
Loved the Blazing Saddles clip!
(One of the few you can still get away with on YT 😂)
i watched both and wot u r saying is absolutely bang on
Glad you agree :)
Let the battle commence!!!! Lol at least you know you're in it those time? Have to admit, didn't know the other guy til your video sooo I think you won already :)
I really like the all white themed pc but seeing that Red and Black, I might choose that. That looks awesome.
Makes complete sense. Marketplace barn finds aren't a guarantee for everyone. Useless to include them as a list to the masses
It's called the "principal of Charity" where you use the best possible version of your interlocutors argument instead of cherry-picking the worst possible version.
❤ love to see a little friend comp 😁
I love your pc builds Zach, i think It could have been cooler if you just turned the fans red
Fr why they white 😂
It may very well be that the case came with fans that only have white LEDs. My last build years ago came with those.
@@TranceWarp it's the diypc q01. I've used the predecessor the q3 and they have RGB fans thatcan cycle with thereset sw. I have the new q01 at my house but thn px in there isn't booting
@@60rll Fair enough. I'm not familiar with the case, so I assumed poorly.
Build Off! Set the parameters and go to town guys! Love to see it!
I actually snagged a 5700 xt for 95$ before this video n was wondering what cpu to use with it n😀
ooo love to see both of the people i watch
Glad to hear it!
Never forget that running theme in "Life of Brian" - There is always one, isn't there?
I wish you literal build a brand new system with new i3 12100f and rx 6600 for 550
Love some fun competition. Been watching both your channels for a long time. Its a win for us viewers. 😁
I'm a student, I want to do some programming and occasional gaming. What should I buy a pc or a laptop (If my budget is $600-$700, including monitor) and I definitely want at least 512 GB storage, 8-16 GB ram and windows 11. Also, I want everything to be brand new.
What option would be best for me, please recommend.
Also, please tell me what laptop/custom pc parts I should use.
of cours a pc if you want my advice her is
ryzen 5 3600 60$
B550m DS3H 90$
CPU cooler 20$
case 50$
Rtx 2060 super or used rx 6600 or used RX 5700 xt buy the cheap is around 100 to 200 $
PSU 550w 45$
ram 16gb 35$
SSD 512gb 30$
mouse and keyboard and heatset 60$ or less
monitor 1080p 144hz 180$ or less
if you want to make the setup more cheap buy and rx 5700 xt for 130$ and its same performance of an RTX 2060 super or an rx 6600 its in used market for under 150$ if you find rx 6600 withe same price of rx 5700 xt buy the RX 6600 be cause he have mech shaders
@@khalilmansouri-oj8nl Thank you so much but isn't the ryzen 5 3600 old? Isn't it worse than an Intel i5 10th gen? What if instead I buy a 5600X? Will it be worth more?
@@Kushagra_Aggarwal you d'ont need a expensive CPU to paly games and study
the ryzen 5 3600 have same performance of the i5 10400 and the ryzen support overclock but i5 10400 is good choice too be cause he d'ont need a CPU cooler the stock is more than enough if you want intel her is you'r buil
I5 10400 used 60-80$ new 115$ but the new one is sucks be cause you can get a ryzen 5500 witch performer better
and a H510m-e I d'ont know his price but its less than 90$ and you have the ability with this motherboard to upgrade to i7 10gen and if you want ability to upgrade to i9 you have to go with Z490 for 90$ or less
the ryzen 5500 is not better than i5 10400 is the same performance too but in ryzen am4 socket you have ability to upgrade (if you have a good motherboard and a good CPU cooler) and if you want to upgrade to an I7 or an I9 you need a goodCPU cooler
would be great to have a video series where 2 builders compete and try to build a pc within a certain amount of budget by buying all parts in the same store and at the same time to even out the playing field.
You are an honest person unlike some tech tips channel.
sweet build for the money, great build in general honestly! rad video
Its crazy how you silently roasted that guy.
